Teymour Shahabi (teymourshahabi) Hello fellow authors,

Does anyone else struggle with procrastination?! I'm an indie author living in NYC (world capital of distractions), and I made a short video that lays out 3 easy steps to beat procrastination: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XZwp...

Would love your thoughts!

Teymour Shahabi (teymourshahabi) I desperately need to get some work done... But first I had to answer this :) And now it's time for a break.

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 2274 comments To be fair, I just finished doing something so now I have time to respond. I clicked on my notifications because that's what I intended to do and I came across this. With that being said here are my thoughts on the video and if I myself suffer from procrastination.

Another great video Teymour and one a lot of people can relate to. Your three ideas are simple although two kind of contradict each other but if you get down to the bottom of the ideas they aren't and I knew what you meant.

Do I suffer from procrastination? Yes! Too much. Sometimes it's finding something to do or the big one which is in relation to your video and as an author...getting side tracked or just browsing on the internet which is a clear sign of procrastination and not doing what I intended to do. I have a bad habit of starting something but then either not finishing it or I end up doing something else. Another thing I've become really bad at and is a clear sign of procrastination is I push something off for later...no!!! If I get an e-mail telling me to do something, complete a list, do a task or watch an important video I push it off till later..does later ever come? Eventually but well after it's impact has minimized...

The struggle of procrastination is real...it's real.

Oh gosh... Sorry to hear of your struggles with this, but glad (selfishly?) to know the struggle is real and universal... We're all in this together! Now, let's try one last push to make this Sunday productive... :)
