The Scottish Prisoner (07/16) > Chapter 30: LJG is reflecting on whether or not is fair to treat Jamie as a free man. His concern is will it give Jamie fond memories after returning to Helwater, or will Jamie be bitter. How do you think Jamie will feel?

Shanna | 40 comments I don't really think Jamie's thinking has changed. I think Jamie has considered himself still a paroled prisoner even though he's been able to do all these things w/ LJG and Hal.
Jamie is the type that knows his place and knows that as a paroled prisoner that "freedom" can be taken away if he does anything to jeopardize that.
As far as Jamie's return to Helwater... it's what he knows as a "groom" at the stable and what he's comfortable doing.
