L.C. Perry | 83 comments I’m kind of in a slump with the books I’m reading right now so I’ve decided to take a break and try looking for some indie books instead :) I’m an indie author as well and I know how hard it is to get reviews. Although I’m still looking for reviews myself, I’m willing to give reviews to others in exchange for a free copy of your book. It can be gifted to me on Amazon or it can be PDF or Mobi. Depending how many requests I get, there’s no guarantee I’ll get to them all so I’ll only respond if I’m interested. Here are my interests:
Young Adult
New Adult
Romance
Action/Adventure
Fantasy
Dystopian
Paranormal (Although I’m tired of vampires and werewolves…)
Science Fiction
The books that could get top priority are the ones that have these elements: YA that has romance (but no insta-love), Action, intriguing characters, and a strong (or at least developing into a strong) female protagonist. Please don’t give me love triangles! I used to love them, but now I’ve found them sort of unrealistic.
Keep in mind that the review will be honest! I won’t be brutal but I won’t sugarcoat it either. Be aware that if it’s a low rating, I’ll still post it. Both good and bad reviews can still help your book. I’ll post it on Goodreads and if you want me to post it on Amazon, let me know. You can either comment on this thread or message me! Leave your email, a link to the book and feel free to leave details about it as well. If I’m interested, I’ll either email or message you :) Know that there’s no timeframe as to when I review your book either.
If you want to review my book in exchange for a free copy, I can do that as well. (Link to mine: Floresha )
Thanks for your time!

Leah Hart (leahruthhart) | 12 comments Wow! I have to say, my books sound perfect for you. :) The first is about a beautiful alien coming to Earth. It's set in the future and the aliens have powers. It's a Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Romance and a new adult novel, too! The Truth About Humans: as told by an alien

The second is about an apprentice to a sorceress, who , at first, seems to be a dud with no powers. Then magic starts happening! This one is a YA/Fantasy/Romance. Mistress of Magic

Let me know if you're interested!

Lenita Sheridan | 1010 comments My Guardian of the Gauntlet trilogy would fit your interests. They are young adult fantasy books. They are quite short, so it shouldn't take too long too read them. I would agree to free copies of my books in exchange for reviews on the final two. You would only need to read the first for background information, not review it. For more information, my website is http://lenitasheridan.com. To get in touch with me, my email address is mrsgcraftlady@hotmail.com.

K.G. Reuss (kgreuss) | 14 comments You can check out my book. It's YA of sorts with a fantasy/magical realism/romance bit. I wouldn't say there's a love triangle in it, even if it sort of appears that there is. It's just being set up for something later on.

Here's the link for it if you're interested!

Zee Monodee (zee_monodee) | 154 comments Action/adventure and a strong, kick ass female protagonist :) My book is free on Amazon, btw - you can check it out Walking The Edge (Corpus Brides Trilogy, #1) by Zee Monodee

A.J. Norfield (ajnorfield) | 10 comments Windcatcher (Stone War Chronicles, #1) by A.J. Norfield

Action packed, epic, dragon adventure. Though only one strong female character in Book I, so you'll have to wait for the strong female protagonist part till book II is done. :)

Please consider my suspense novel,The Other Side of Him, The Other Side of Himinspired by true events, a 2016 Ippy Bronze Award winner in Regional Fiction. it is a story about an ambitious young woman who dates a successful man only to learn he is seriously flawed. She tried to break up with him only to become the victim of his stalking. Set in the fifties, before society had any institutions available to help in such cases, she must find her own solution to her problem.

message 16: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee Since this is about books from Indie authors, can someone tell me the difference between an Indie author and a regular independent author? Or is there one? Yeah that's right--one person who really doesn't know:)

I would like to list my Romantic/Suspense, Colors In The Dark, that I can gift through Amazon. If you're interested, you can contact me here, or at atreyhu@att.net. Thanks!:)

Colors In The Dark by Groovy Lee

Or my Suspense novel, Cause She's A Good Girl. This book was featured on a popular morning TV show in Nashville and given a highly recommended by Bookwoman. Also, one of the main characters, Oz, was written in the image of Prince.

Cause She's a Good Girl by Groovy Lee

Thank-you! http://www.groovylee.com

Russell Gibbs | 20 comments I am seeking honest reviews for my new spirituality self-help book. If you would like to review this book please email me at russellagibbs@msn.com with your format preference. (mobi, epub or paperback)

The Six Principles of Enlightenment and Meaning of Life is a concise 13,000 word spiritual self-help book.

The Six Principles of Enlightenment and Meaning of Life by Russell Anthony Gibbs

All enlightened beings, most founders of religions and many renowned scientists knew and understood the six principles of enlightenment. These universal truths have been written about, taught and discussed for thousands of years and yet remain shrouded in mystery and misinterpretation. This book seeks to remove that shroud by explaining the six significant universal truths woven throughout science, religion and philosophy. These principles draw upon thousands of years of wisdom and are presented in a concise, accessible format. Each principle is defined, explained and supported by quotes from enlightened beings, philosophers, artists and scientists like Buddha, Albert Einstein, Rumi, Stephen Hawking and Jesus. To understand the six principles of enlightenment is to understand the meaning of life.

Author Russell Anthony Gibbs is a philosopher and spiritual seeker on a quest for enlightenment. In writing this book he has researched Bahaism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam, Sufism and Taoism. In addition to religion and philosophy, he has incorporated quantum mechanics, physics and psychology and studied the works of Albert Einstein, Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud and Stephen Hawking. Russell’s communication style has been described as “Espresso Wisdom,” consisting of short, strong, rich insight. As the first in a planned 8 book series, it has already amassed a positive following and reached #12 on the Amazon Hot New Releases for Spiritual Self-Help in its first 30 days.

“A wise, encouraging, and potentially life changing book that will fascinate and inform all those seeking spiritual truths and enlightenment.”

This sounds interesting. I really don't know about Mobi or epub. I certainly could take a paperback. Let me know if you want to do this. You can email me directly, since I don't come to Goodreads often, by sending to jklodoc@gmail.com
If you'd like to get a flavor of what I've been writing you can look at 25 unedited portions of chapters from my current book. You can see it on my website, jakehatmacher.wordpress.com

Just a note, Amazon will have your review deleted if it was given in exchange for a review of another author's book. Their policies are getting stricter and some of them are very counterproductive. I'm trying to find an updated policy, but as of last year they are even deleting ones from people you talk to via social media, forums or groups. (Even if you've never met or your fans of an author's work)

I've heard of a lot of people who are getting their reviews deleted lately and just thought I'd pass the word along. :)

Eli | 38 comments Not really sure if you'd be interested in this or not, but I figure I'd ask, just to be sure. Random Word Stories: Volume 1 is a collection of flash fiction and short stories. The genres all differ, and there is some sci-fi and fantasy mixed in there. Can't really cay there's any YA stuff, unless you count a few stories about young people doing stuff.
