Librarians can't help you with anything to do with your user profile, only your author profile and books.Only staff can merge a GR Author and a non-GR author profile, so I have posted the details in the appropriate thread for that. This can take a little while, so please be patient and check back in a day or two.
Books (and author profiles) should have the name that's actually on the cover: In that case for you it actually is Patrick Rochefort, as the others are anthology stories, but bear it in mind for future books.

Correct, although unless at least one edition had it on the cover or a middle name was need for disambiguation, there would be no reason to do so.

Either way, the middle-pen-name-use there is for specific genre publishing, and isn't really appropriate for a broader venue like Goodreads, hence my wishing to remove it.Thank you for your assistance, @Krazykiwi.
Patrick wrote: "Either way, the middle-pen-name-use there is for specific genre publishing, and isn't really appropriate for a broader venue like Goodreads, hence my wishing to remove it."But in msg #1 you say the correct author profile is Patrick "Bahumat" Rochefort?
Patrick wrote: "Either way, the middle-pen-name-use there is for specific genre publishing, and isn't really appropriate for a broader venue like Goodreads, hence my wishing to remove it."Then you would have two author profiles. One for the genre-specific books and another for the others. See Iain Banks and Iain M. Banks for example.
Fixed.
Patrick, please be aware that I only merged/edited them as requested in this case because there are no book covers with Patrick "Bahumat" Rochefort on the cover. If there were, the choices would either be to have all your books under that name, or have 2 separate profiles as Elizabeth suggested.
Also, librarians cannot edit/merge claimed author profiles. Only staff can do that.

CORRECT Author profile: Patrick "Bahumat" Rochefort
Hi Librarians, hopefully someone here can help me. I'm caught in a loop of being unable to edit my own Author Profile, and then consequently being unable to link my own books to my profile.
I want to accomplish 2 things:
1. Remove all incidences of "Bahumat" from my user profile. Currently, attempting to do so kicks back the "only Librarians can edit author profiles" message.
2. Link the books above correctly to my correct user profile page.
Can a librarian help me here? Thank you kindly.
