Where do you live? What do you like or not like about your home town/state/nation? If someone comes there, when and where should they go?

I live in Laval which is just off the island of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. If you guys come here you should definitely check out Old Montreal and the Old Port. In the summer there are a lot of outdoor shows and concerts which are mostly free.
I'm from Turku, Finland. I kind of don't like it here. It's way too cold and the winter is way too long. But the town's quite pretty, especially in summer with the river running across the town and plenty of greenery :) I visited Montreal once while I was staying in Toronto as an exchange student. The Montreal visit was only for the weekend but I liked the city a lot. I think it was pretty with all the small stores etc. Very different from Toronto.
I'm from a small city called St. Albert, in Alberta, Canada. Very snowy and cold during the winter, and very busy with tourists and festivals during the hot summer months.
I live in Queensland, AUSTRALIA!!!! I love the beaches and the city (not too crowded, not too empty, you know?) I don't like the multiple weather seasons. It's not just the usual summer, autumn, winter, spring. There's storm season, magpie season, toad season, cyclone season (that one's fun), flood season, you name it we have it. But the vibe and attractions make it so worth it.If you want to go to Queensland, the theme parks are a MUST!!! Especially in October, Movie World does Fright Night (If you're not horrified by halloween stuff) and summer time, Wet'n'Wild is the place to go. Also hit up the SouthBank Parklands where there is a public lagoon pool that overlooks the Brisbane river. there's a Ferris wheel there and a theatre. If you like indie rock music (or music in general) they do Friday jam sessions there as well for free!
Across the river is Brisbane city. Hit up Queenstreet Mall, eateries and the Brisbane Botanical Gardens where I do a lot of reading.
I'm from Santiago de Chile. I'm a city person, so I like living here because everything is IN the city, so it way not easy to find stuff. Most of my family and friends are from here so it's not lonely. The bar thing is that there is too much people, and smog so is annoying and tiring at times.
If someone wants to visit, the center of the city is very preatty because is old and there are many cool and old stuff to see. But in Chile there are many other places way more preatty and enjoyable than here, like beaches, desserts, lakes, woods, snow, etc. I really recommend that.
