Selling books direct w Easy Digital Downloads...

Okay, I don't actually need help so this is more of a reverse-help thread hahahaha!!

1. I use Wordpress. Not sure which other website builders support EDD.
2. I luuurve EDD for selling books direct from your author site or wherever.
3. But I don't love the shortcode for their "Purchase Now" button cuz while it looks super pretty, you can't add it beside a simple link to Amazon (or another retailer).

Anyhoo, I just figured out how to whip up a custom "Add to Cart" link and thought someone else might benefit. If not, then just ignore me. Duh!

Oh, and remember this is html so you'll have to use the text editor, not visual...

Take out the extra spaces and voila!

DIRECT

You just have to replace https://www.anniearcane.com/checkout/ with the URL for your own checkout page, 8292 with the ID number for your own download, and DIRECT with whatever text you want to link from.

And, oops! I totally forgot to say, I combine EDD with Mooberry Book Manager, which generates the book page for me. Before discovering this little gem, I was using shortcode to create columns and shizz. Gawd, it was a headache! And a mess!! MBM FTW!!!

Not to mention, Miss Christie (MBM plug-in creator) is the nicest person on the planet! Don't ask how the heck I ended up emailing back and forth with her...

But then I thought to myself, "Hmm. I wonder how many people will actually open it when they think someone is asking for help vs. offering?"
