Was this a YA/kids book, or an adult book? Also, would you label it a romance?
It was a YA/kids book for sure. And I would call it a romance, yes.
The statue was a guy - I want to say both characters were teens.

In the story I believe that he had a spell cast on him and could only stay a real person when he fell in love - kind of the same vein as Beauty and the Beast. I think the book cover was blue with a moon on it. Any help would be appreciated.
