I just finished The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson

Ghost story + psychological horror

I just finished The Lottery and Other Stories and We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson

I loved these also, if you liked vamps I would of suggested his book Lesser Dead that was scary LOL.

House of echoes sounds good! And its in my library!
