I definitely enjoyed it, but I must say this book will never be one of my faves. I also didn't think the ending was that sad. I liked the idea of the monster and the tales, though!

I loved this book! I read it in one night ~ I cried my heart out ~ maybe because I have a son, maybe from the story and wording; whatever it was really did a number on me :) I really enjoyed the illustrations as well! Thanks for the suggestion ~ I'm glad I picked this one up!
