Did anyone notice that when the abusive husband gets the motorcyclist Ken to follow Joss to where Libby is staying, his instructions are to follow the man and report where he goes (p 181-182 in hardcover)? When Ken gets there, he stays to find "her". He did not know there was a "her" and he had not been instructed to look for her. I kept rereading the short exchange between Steven and Ken. Nowhere does Steven say anything about Libby.And yet, on p.185, "If the cop was stopping here, so was she, "Ken decided. Huh?
