Dorothy is still there. She and her Aunt and Uncle have moved to OZ. She comes into the book towards the middle and has a big part in the last half. The book introduces a few new characters. The patchwork quilt girl, a glass cat, and Ojo the Munchkin boy. There are a few more new characters, but they are minor characters.

Have finished 6/26/14. Six short stories based in Oz with our favorite characters. Baum wrote this for beginning and early elementary age children whereas the main books in Oz were meant for all ages. It was good, but very short.

I loved both my books. I only wish that Leviathan had more than three parts, there's room for more Deryn's adventures.

Me too and my travels. I forget how little reading time I have when I'm traveling the state for softball games and tournaments and other kid related events. The bummer is July is a quarter end, so I will busy with work and softball. When will I read?!

I was so proud that I read at the end of last month, but I will START by the end of the day! (How many words constitutes a start?! :D)
