he looked down at his now empty plate
The dishes were taken away when they left.
brian got up "may i be excused?" he asked
They nodded and everyone went back to their own rooms.
brian left towards his room "why , why do i have to fumble like that" he said to no one
Caroline dressed into her night clothes and wrote in her journal.
brian was laying on his bed not doing anything
She finished writing then read a book
the next morning brian wake up and streatched
Caroline was involved in preparations.
brian came out and looked around
Caroline looked out the window and saw horses approaching.
many people from Brian's kingdom where here including his father.
She got dressed quickly.
brian's father entered the throne room
The king sat there with the queen and stood up when he arrived. "Welcome!"
"my old friend it has been far to long" Brian's father said
brian's father approached the king
The king smiled and step forward to greet the friend.
He hugged back, laughing.
"i knew you would welcome my son in , not a doubt in my mind" he said
"Of course, how couldn't I." he released him.
"i just hope you daughter is not as high strong as you dear wife tends to be" he said the leaned over to look at the queen "no offence" he said
The queen looked at him in disbelief "Excuse me?"the king looked at him. "Did you say something?"
"oh nothing just remembering, you know, when we where younger , she was always uptight" he said
"Well, she is queen now. We're not the young kids we used to be."
"Our servants shall show you and your family where you will be staying." he said. "The wedding is taking place in less than a fortnight so make preparations accordingly."
"thanks, now tell me your kingdom still makes that sweet honey ale your best known for making?" he asked
"Of course we do. It'll be in your rooms."
"thanks, lead on my little comrade" he said to the servant.(( here is brian's father

The servants led the whole family to the place.
steve went in and grabbed a bottle of the honey ale "he always know how to smuggle me the best ale for us to share when we where younger" he said as a young girl only five years older then Brian walked in to the room.
Caroline was ready and was told that she was going to have to meet her future in-laws, who were also the royal family of the other kingdom. She hoped they would like her.
Brian met up with her on the way to met his father and his new wife.
She smiled at Brian before sighing. "Do you think they'll like me?"
"if anything i'm afraid of is my dad liking you to much and trying to steal you away, he seems to be going after younger and younger women" brian said
"Oh... I don't think he would do that to the kingdom, my father or to you. Plus, I would never marry an old man.. No offence."
brian laughed "ya your probably right" he said as they reached the room to find a sock on the doorknob
She looked confused and quite disturbed to see it, not knowing really what this meant and why a king would do it. She was brought up as a lady. She looked at Brian with a questioning look.
"um ya lets take a walk and try again later, much later" he said grabbing her hand and pulling her away
"Ugh, another walk?" she muttered but let him take her away. Maybe she could get to know the guy she was to marry.
"sorry about that it is just his way of saying dont come in" he said walking next to her
