And it constantly has connectivity problems. It just stops working so I either have to restart the app or turn my wifi off and then on again.

And there's no refresh option. If you want to see the new comments on an already open thread, you have to restart the app.

Abby | 5404 comments Oh dear lord. Turns out I've read one of the books that I couldn't find. *smacks hand on face* Oh well... anyway, four down, one to go.

message 904: by Tati (new)

Tati I had that issue with one of them.

I usually take a look at the day's round as soon as I wake up (which, during the week, is 5 AM). On my first look, I recognized 2 of the covers. Then, I got to work, looked again at them and "Oh, wait, I know you! I've READ you!"

Granted, I didn't like it, but still...

That's what I do too. Take the initial glance, go about my business, then really get looking when I can. And the one I read and couldn't remember, I hated, so I probably pushed it out of my mind.

message 906: by Tati (new)

Tati It's possible we're talking about the same book, I think we BR'd that one.

Abby | 5404 comments Tati wrote: "It's possible we're talking about the same book, I think we BR'd that one."

It's very possible we did BR it together. There are so many buddy reads, I can't keep track. lol

message 908: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Os it the 19?
Don't say yes please, I liked it :(

message 909: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments One more app problem that I forgot to mention...
There is no edit or delete option here >.<

message 910: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Ughhh descriptions tomorrow... Kill me...
On the other hand, the scavenger hint is the worst, for the 1st and 3rd rounds we at least know that it's a one specific book...
I guess I will hate the 2nd round from now on lol

message 911: by Tati (new)

Tati Well, I didn't like 19 either, I didn't even finish it.

No, I'm talking about 16.

message 912: by Abby (new)

Abby | 5404 comments I'm talking about #16. Don't know about Tati though, lol. I enjoyed #19.

message 913: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Fewww I am glad at least one of you did lol
16 was an unknown species for me lol
Actually every single one except the 18 and 19. Even though I have't read 18 but I have heard about it :)

message 914: by Tati (new)

Tati See, I'm not touching 18 with a 10-foot pole, though it's a pretty popular book (me against the hype LOL)

message 915: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments I just know the series
Actually no cross that
I just know the covers lol

message 916: by Abby (new)

Abby | 5404 comments Tati wrote: "See, I'm not touching 18 with a 10-foot pole, though it's a pretty popular book (me against the hype LOL)"

That series isn't worth it. I read them all and they got a little worse with each one.

message 917: by Tati (new)

Tati I didn't even finish the first one...

message 918: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Wow it was thaaaat bad??? I usually finish the book even if it's terrible, but when I put it on hold because of it, I eventually come back in a year or so lol
Since It's bugging me, I mean the thought that I know that I have an unfinished book

message 919: by Eesh (new)

Eesh (quirkyopinions) | 7289 comments Tati wrote: "I didn't even finish the first one..."

Man! I wanted to read the #18 and #16 series'!

message 920: by Tati (new)

Tati I have no qualms about not finishing a book, but I really couldn't get into it

message 921: by Eesh (new)

Eesh (quirkyopinions) | 7289 comments Tati wrote: "Well, I didn't like 19 either, I didn't even finish it.

I agree with you on #19. Couldn't even finish the first one.

message 922: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments I liked 19 enough but it wasn't my favorite read of the year.

message 923: by Tati (new)

Tati Out of the 5 books for today, I've read 3. Out of those 3, one I really didn't like, and didn't finish the other 2.

Eesh (quirkyopinions) | 7289 comments Tati wrote: "Out of the 5 books for today, I've read 3. Out of those 3, one I really didn't like, and didn't finish the other 2."

Clearly, you aren't having much luck with the populars. I haven't read any. I want to read two and I'm never gonna read one since I hated the first book.

message 925: by Tati (new)

Tati That's me, going against the hype LOL

message 926: by Abby (new)

Abby | 5404 comments It's about 50/50 whether or not I'll like a popular book, no matter what the rating is. I swear, I'm the pickiest reviewer. It's extremely rare that a book will get five stars from me.

message 927: by Tati (new)

Tati Abby, you and me, you and me. If I give a book 5 stars, it's because I wish I could crawl into it and live in its pages

Eesh (quirkyopinions) | 7289 comments Tati wrote: "Abby, you and me, you and me. If I give a book 5 stars, it's because I wish I could crawl into it and live in its pages"

I'm a little easier with five stars but I've been having the worst luck recently. Only two 5 stars in the last 2 months.

message 929: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments I've been trying not to give out 5 stars as much, but I just seem to love so many books!

Eesh (quirkyopinions) | 7289 comments Andrea wrote: "I've been trying not to give out 5 stars as much, but I just seem to love so many books!"

There was a time when I was like that. I miss that time.

message 931: by Tati (new)

Tati My last 5 star reads were April and May (The Rose and the Dagger and A Court of Mist And Fury). I think those were my only 5 stars so far this year

message 932: by Tati (new)

Tati Out of 1176 ratings, only 79 were 5 stars.

message 933: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments I'm still not over ACOMAF.

message 934: by Tati (new)

Tati I know, me either tbh. I can't think too much about it, especially considering how far away May 2017 still is

Eesh (quirkyopinions) | 7289 comments Tati wrote: "My last 5 star reads were April and May (The Rose and the Dagger and A Court of Mist And Fury). I think those were my only 5 stars so far this year"

Wow, I've had a much better year that you have.

message 936: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Way too far away!!! I'm super excited for the Coloring book too!

My average rating is 4.33 and I have like 800 ratings so I have a lot of 5 and 4 star ratings. I think my problem is that after I finish a book I'm like "OMG I LOVED EVERYTHING" then I think about it for a while and I decide, meh it was okay. Like I recently changed my rating for the twilight books because I don't really care for them anymore and originally when I gave them their rating I was in middle school lol.

message 937: by Tati (new)

Tati I wouldn't say I've had a bad year, I'm just pretty stingy with my stars LOL

My average rating right now is 3.19

Eesh (quirkyopinions) | 7289 comments Tati wrote: "I wouldn't say I've had a bad year, I'm just pretty stingy with my stars LOL"

Out of my 108 reads this year, I've given 20 five stars. Not counting the last two months, I've been pretty lucky, and I'm easier with my ratings.

message 940: by Eesh (new)

Eesh (quirkyopinions) | 7289 comments Just checked the time, almost 1 am. Think I'm gonna read now. Let's hope for another five stars.

message 941: by Brooke (new)

Brooke ♥booklife4life♥ (booklife4life) | 6447 comments Tati im with you, my average is 3.58 its really hard for me to give out 5s, the first year i reviewed, i gave them way too easily, now the book has to be perfect in every way to get the 5. think ive only give 3 5 stars this year. 3 out of 342

message 942: by Abby (new)

Abby | 5404 comments 3.54 average for me. 4 stars basically means I really liked it. It has to be perfect to get a 5 from me, which to be honest, not a lot of YA is to me.

message 943: by Abi (new)

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments Tati wrote: "Out of 1176 ratings, only 79 were 5 stars."

68 out of 2528 for me. :(

message 944: by Abi (new)

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments My avg rating is 3.03 right now. It;s an improvement on the 2.79 it was 2 years ago though. Read a ridiculous amount of 2 stars reads that year.

message 945: by Brooke (new)

Brooke ♥booklife4life♥ (booklife4life) | 6447 comments abbie thats my month, lots of 2 stars

message 946: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments I was too "kind" before but this year I started to be fair :D
But I still give 5 if I love it.
Wow you gave a court of Mist and Fury 5 stars?? O gave 1 to it. Soon Sarah J.Mass is going to be banned from my shelves

message 947: by Tati (new)

Tati I remember you didn't like it. I loved it!

I have some banned authors as well. Cassandra Clare is one of them, and Colleen Hoover is toeing the line. It Ends with Us will likely be the last chance I give her

message 948: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments I loved everything about ACOMAF! I don't think I really have any banned authors yet.

message 949: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Didn't like doesn't cover it lol

I like Cassandra's books idk
I like Sarah's books as well I just don't like how she twists and ruins character to get her way. I mean it's her book, her characters and her ideas so she can do whatever she wants but the way she does it... Again and again it's repetitive which gets annoying. Also she does it so abruptly that I don't see the point why should I hate this characters.
I am still team Chaol
And whatever the spring fae's name was. I don't even remember and I don't want to remember that series lol

message 950: by Abby (new)

Abby | 5404 comments I like Cassandra Clare pretty well. All 3 or 4 stars for her stuff. And I definitely didn't like ACOMAF as much as everyone else. That series is becoming like Throne of Glass, which got a little worse with every book.
