Main character is some boy, teenager, and he starts to show interest in a shy girl at school. She wears glasses and we later find out that she turns things to stone if she looks at it ( sort of like medusa). They either fall in love or become best friends. In the end she takes off her glasses and turns him to stone. Possibly has a title like "Stone", "crumble", " rocks", something very simple. I think the cover is greenish, and has a curly haired girl with sunglasses on. Fictional, and possibly a romance or mythological. I also believe the girl is into art, and lives in a big house. There is also something about the sunset I think.... IDK, it's been about 6 years since I read it.
