ABANDONED. romance novel, heroine is a cop and hero is in movie business

I am looking for a book I read a couple years ago. It's a romance novel, adult, the heroine is a cop who was undercover as an escort and is still dressed that way when the heroine sees the hero and tries to arrest him because he is on her friends property and she thinks he was trying to break in. She finds out the hero is in the movie business and is working on a project with her friend who is an actress.

Can you tell us more about the heroine and hero - why she's undercover, is he an actor/director/producer/writer/PR/..., etc.?

What's the tone - romantic, funny, steamy, angsty, suspense, etc.?

I read the book in 2013-2014, the tone is more romantic then suspenseful. I am pretty sure the hero was a director. I don't remember why she was undercover, or if she was only undercover at the beginning of the book.

Is the heroine definitely a cop/detective and not a private investigator?

No she was definitely a cop/detective that is one of the few things I remember about the book.
