I'm pretty sure Umbridge passed that decree because she knows about their new group, but how did she find out?!

I find it interesting that everyone seems so enamored with Hedwig being a white owl. Are they not very common?
I wonder what happened to Hedwig.

"Snape and Umbridge, the two teachers he hated most... it was hard to decide which he wanted to triumph over the other." → For some reason I thought that they would actually get along. lol
