Hey there, as promised, Sunchaser has been release a few weeks ago.
It is a non-romance, road-movie-ish paranormal adventure novel about a werecat drifter, a wide-eyed human girl and a defective werewolf learning that, sometimes, family indeed is the ones you didn't pick. It can be read as a standalone, as it is not a direct sequel to 'Softpaw'.
Here's the blurb:
Roan has pretended to be a human for long enough. He needs to get out of town and roam the land, as any proper werecat should.
The last thing he wants is his conscience insisting he should save an abused werewolf from a traveling circus first. The very last thing he expects is the local sheriff's daughter having the exact same idea - and beating him to the punch.
Their rescue goes spectacularly wrong and suddenly Roan, Betsy and their crippled wolf find themselves fleeing across the USA for the Mexican border, chased by the police and vengeful circus fey alike...
As always, please do not hesitate to contact my wife Beryll Brackhaus or me if you have any questions.
Thanks & take care,
Osiris

I just wanted to let you know that the first book of the Smilodon Pride collection, Softpaw, was released last week.
The Smilodon Pride collection gathers the adventures of a pack of werecat siblings, each book focussing on one of them. This way, each book will have a distinctively different feel and genre:
Softpaw is an mm romance crime novel set in Paris, France. The next book in the series, Sunchaser (due October this year), will be a non-romance adventure road-movie book. The third one, Moonchaser, will be an asexual ff romance, and mostly a jewel heist around the Mediterranean.
I hope I managed to get you interested in the series. You can check out the books here on Goodreads, or on our site http://www.brackhaus.com. And of course, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask either my wife Beryll Brackhaus or me directly - we love to talk about our books!
Thank you for your time,
Osiris Brackhaus
