Photography, Swimming, Puzzles and Art
what cozy..."
In the book I'm reading right now, Die Buying, the main character likes to swim. And for the art lover in you...how about the Art Lover's Mystery series? :)

In addition to reading, I knit, crochet and sew (sometimes). I am a basketball fan. My home is filled with books and plants. I am a lawyer. I love to do jigsaw puzzles and word games.

Juli I would recommend Kathi Daley's Zoe Donovan series! She is definitely a animal lover!

Not sure if you like big dogs or small....but The Barking Detective series features chihuahuas. :)

I am half-way through Dial C for Chihuahua. So cute so far...for a big dog series...the Downward Dog Series by Tracy Weber is a good choice.

Plants - Heather Webber has a series about a woman who runs a landscaping company - Nina. Digging Up Trouble is the first. Of course, then there are the books with books, Kate Carlisle book binder is a terrific series. Ali Brandon has Black Cat Bookshop series which combines books and a cat. Lucy Arlington series Novel Idea.

I suggest the Crochet Mystery series by Betty Hechtman. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0144K...

I love dog series Susan Conant - Holly Winter, Laurien Berenson - Melanie Travis, Carole Lea Benjamin - Rachel and Dash, Lauren Carr - Mac Faraday and Gnarly.

Laura Childs has a scrap booking series. I believe she is up to #13 in the series.

I suggest the Cats In Trouble mystery series by Leeann Sweeney.

Adding it to my TBR :)

You have a number of great British authors to chose from -
Colin Dexter, Arthur Conan Coyle, Agatha Christie, and Peter King has a gourmet detective series.

Yes, Laura Childs has a scrapbooking mystery series. I have only read the first one so far, but I enjoyed it and have several more waiting to be read.

I would recommend the Books by the Bay mysteries by Ellery Adams for the readers. For those who love food, The Silver Bullet Diner mysteries by Christine Wenger are top notch! Cat book favorites are by Sofie Kelly, Sofie Ryan and of course, the Sneaky Pie Brown by Rita Mae Brown -- the earlier, less preachy books! LOL!

Nancy, have you tried the Puzzle Lady series by Parnell Hall?

For quilting, my sister has read the Benni Harper mysteries by Earlene Fowler, and really enjoys them. Each title is the name of a quilt pattern. We are both reading the Kelly Flynn knitting mysteries by Maggie Sefton.
There is a 2 book series by Fiona Mountain that are labeled as Genealogical mysteries. On Goodreads they are called Natasha Blake Ancestor Detective. I have the first one, but haven't read it yet.
There are some great recipes in Joanne Flukes Hannah Swensen baking mysteries. I have the cookbook and love it.

I love that you foster kittens, but how can you give them up? When someone dropped a young cat by our house, she gave birth about a week later to 5 healthy kittens. We kept them all, in addition to the momma cat and our 2 older cats.
I would recommend The Cat Who.... series by Lilian Jackson Braun.

I read Carol Lea Benjamin, Laurie Berenson and Susan Conant and loved them all. Also the Reigning Cats and Dog series a mobile veterinarian set on Long Island with all the location names changed and the distances way too short to meet reality, but enjoyable none the less.

Jamie, have you tried the Tammy Kaehler Kate Reilly series? The main character drives race cars (road races such as Le Mans, Road America) but it's a good series for race fans.

Yes I read the Puzzle Lady series by Parnell Hall.

I would recommend The Elm Creek Quilt series by Jennifer Chiaverini.

The protagonists of Whales and Tails Mystery (by Kathi Daley) and Cats in trouble (by Leann Sweeney) forest kittens and cats.
Kathleen wrote: "I love to scrapbook in my spare time. I'm not sure there is a cozy mystery series that focuses on that. Any suggestions?"
Laura Childs, Christina Freeburn and Joanna Cambell-Slan write cozy mysteries whit a scrapbooker. I know it because I like scrapbook too.
My hobbies are quilting, books, genealogy and cats.
I post here for convenience, sorry.

The Nero Blanc - Crossword Mystery series were also good
