The Best Book I read in JUNE

Just a little late starting this thread, sorry! Hope your July is going well.

I read five books in June, but only one MG book, although I mistakenly thought another was. The two I enjoyed most were both for grown-ups, though!

Slacker
I haven't enjoyed Gordon Korman's recent releases as much as I loved his old stuff that I read as a kid. But this book took me back to those days. I had a couple of giggling fits while I read it.

I'm a sucker for good covers, Melody, and the cover for Slacker has definitely grabbed my attention.

"The War That Saved My Life" and "Wonder" were my favorites, MG wise. I also read Donalyn Miller's "Reading in the Wild" and it was pretty much life changing!

Best one might have been Paperboy . Also thought Weedflower was thought-provoking, if imperfect.
