The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare

Okay so Cassie made known that she's creating a Magnus Bane Trilogy. She's going to include his many stories just as she did with The Bane Chronicles but I'm more curious as to her direction with Malec. What she might decide to put in, whether the book will be jam packed with Malec or...I'm really curious. There are many instances where Alec and Magnus' relationship remained unwritten from all the six books. I want to know the in-between. All the nity-grity details. I'm hoping she puts Malec's first kiss. The one where Alec falls down the stairs. I want it to officially be in the books not something you have to get only by pulling up her site.

Same for me. Im glad that the show gave us some more Malec because the books barely had any.

I presume there is no crazy fan out here that would pull together all the text of Magnus and Alec from all the books and other sources (what they do together and separately) and put them together in a single file for us to read? It would be interesting to read the story from their point of view instead of Clary's. She is so annoying. Alas this is not TV. this would be to much work.

hmmm..well don't lose hope... We might never know ;)

Isn't the first kiss story already in a book, The Bane Chronicles? But yeah, I'm so excited to read more Malec scenes. I'm glad she's dedicating a whole series to that.

Magnus and Alec are just so adorable :3 i also love that the show illustrate so much on them.

1. the TV show does not follow the plot of the books at all, but i do like the Malec moments!
2. I am super excited for eldest curses, and have already pre-ordered!

I LOVE Magnus, and I found him a bit nicer and a lot funnier on the TV series, The Shadowhunters!

I just finished the Bane Chronicles, and it left me wanting more! I wish Clare and others had written an entire series about him. He's been around for centuries, so imagine his life just up to this point being immortal and all.

When I first saw the book on the shelf at the library next to the MI and ID books, I thought it was first in a series maybe.

I did come across a few minor spoilers for the ID in The Bane Chronicles, but too late, LOL. Anyone thinking of reading this, I suggest reading both The MI and The ID first. But I was so eager to read more about Magnus. And Alec and Magnus also.

I thought the TV show stuck closer to the books than most screen adaptations of books I've read. ;-) And the show supposedly covers up to just book 4 in the MI. I liked the cast too. Perfect, in my opinion.

Bane Chronicles does give you details of Alec and Magnus's initial attraction, first date, and budding relationship not explored in the MI books. Or TV show.
