The individual stories are nicely woven. I kept expecting for the stories to be linked somehow. There are themes of self-acceptance, loss, love of family and romantic love. I could not help to wonder if some of the stories were drawn from someones real life. I don't usually like anthologies, but, because the book had fewer pages, I was willing to accept it. See, the book is working.:)
