SOLVED. A girl and a wooden man [s]

I can't remember much about the book. All i know is that there's this girl and she's taken to some man's house. It's a mansion. She's wandering the halls where she finds a wooden man sitting in front of a piano in an isolated room. After looking at him, she discovers that he can only be activated by a key. Once activated, she realizes that he's alive but cursed. He teaches her piano (when he's activated) and they fall in love. The original man who brought her their becomes jealous and eventually nearly kills the wooden man (i think).
This book is constantly slinking through my head and i can't remember much about it
