Why does the book have sentences crossed out? Is Juliette writing that in her notebook and crossing it out, or is she thinking it and rejecting the thought? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!

If you're reading the part where Warner or Juliette is reading the notebook, it means that Juliette wrote it and crossed it out. If you see the crossed out words somewhere else, it's Juliette's rejected thoughts.
