How to Keep Readers Interested in Your Blog

Hi Everyone,

I don't know if I have put this in the right section but I need some blog advice.

I would like some more followers on my blog but I don't know how to keep them interested as I am still new to blogging.

I appreciate it if you could help me because I want to keep my blog alive and running :)

When you're blogging you never know whether a post will resonate with readers, so just keep blogging. However, tagging your blog posts seems to help.

Some of my blog's most looked at posts were quite surprising, and they were the ones that increased my following. It takes time and perseverance. My blog just turned one, and I now have close to 100 followers. The increase has been slow and steady.

Just keep blogging, write about things that interest and motivate you to write, and persevere. One of my posts that generated the most interest was this one http://leonierogers.wordpress.com/201... Totally surprised me!

Have just followed you, Tanya. A quick comment - it took quite a long time for me to find your 'follow' buttons/email notifications, so maybe moving them might help :)

I've been running my blog since New Years Eve 2013 and I've found that the more consistent I became, the more views I got because people were looking for it on those specific days. 7 months later and I just passes he 100 follower mark. Most importantly it's a slow progression thing but keep at it an it'll get there. My blog is http://www.thechicmachine.wordpress.com
