Hi Gina, welcome. Hope you will also check out many of the talented Goodreads authors around here, perhaps discover new authors and series to enjoy.
Hi Gina, welcome to the group. I've enjoyed the Jesse Stone TV movies, thought they were excellent. I haven't read any of the books yet, although I would like to. I'm under strict instructions from the missus to not start any new series.. ';0).. I hope you enjoy yourself here; I'm sure you'll find many new interesting authors from the other members' recommendations.
Gina,Welcome to the group.
You and I have a couple of things in common. Before I was a lawyer, I was an CPA. I would encourage anyone who wants a solid career with wide potential, to obtain an accounting degree.
I wonder if there are any accounting sleuths in literature. If not, maybe there should be. We did, after all, collar Al Capone and many others.
Also, my husband and I have read all of the Jesse Stone books and love the movies.
All the best,
Cynthia (The Garrett half of Garrett Smith)

I just checked the Stop You're Killing Me job index - it includes 8 accountants as protagonists. I don't think I have come across any of them though.

Briefly: currently f/t student (returned to university as an adult); want to earn a BA and masters in Accounting/Auditing. Will read anything, but love crime fiction and mystery the most. Currently reading Jess Stone series; James M Cain and Jim Thompson are favorites I return to re-read.
Am always open to new suggestions, learning about new authors. Really looking forward to participating here.
