Wanting to read Suspense, but no horror

I recently read A poisoned Season. It's set in London, Victorian times. The author is Tasha Alexander.

I also read Cold Cold Heart by Tami Hoag. They were both pretty good.

May I recommend my own novel? CAST ME NOT AWAY is definitely suspenseful ... not paranormal or horror, although it has some very sad situations. A tale of the future, and where our culture might be headed. Both good and evil characters, and eventually good prevails over the wrongs of society.
