Delicious! I loved it. Played hooky from other commitments just to devour the second half. Curtis Sittenfeld did a wonderful job adapting it to modern day - in fact it could stand on its own. Haven't read Pride and Predjudice for over 30 years, but it came right back! Bravo, Curtis, I enjoyed this so much!

Now reading Between the World and Me - which like 84, Charing Cross, also picked up from the library today with 3 other books, is a small thin totally readable thing. Can't wait!

Well, you're certainly not the only one to recommend it. Looking at the GR reviews I see many positive reviews from people I know. I didn't think it would be my cup of tea but perhaps I should give it a chance - adding it to the TBR.
