Karol 7. The Mysterious Benedict Society, by Trenton Lee Stewart, 5/5 stars

Very creative, loads of fun

8. The Radioactive Boy Scout: The Frightening True Story of a Whiz Kid and His Homemade Nuclear Reactor, by Ken Silverstein, 4/5 stars

Yes, frightening . . . but also a rather sad story about an intelligent but aimless young man, and lost potential.
