I'd like to suggest someone add a Supernatural challenge to the TV/Movie Challenges. I think that might be fun! :)

We will work on one for October.

Main Page Genre is what it means.
When you go on a book's page - for now, until GR rolls out the new version which will not show this anymore - on the right side of the page, there are genres listed like Mystery, Romance, Drama.
OK? :)

I'm thinking about doing several rounds of the Days of the Week Spell Out challenge.THe challenge is an older one and the directions say to use titles and author names. No mention of series title or main characters as options.
Were the directions updated to include these, or do we stick with the limited list of options?

You may use these current rules: :)
To spell out the required word you can use:
✱ Book titles (first letter: 'the', 'an' and 'a' should be ignored)
✱ Author's initials
✱ Series names (first letter: 'the', 'an' and 'a' should be ignored)
✱ Main character first or last names - You could use Harry Potter but not Fred Weasley.

I was watching a show about the “Seven Summits” which are the highest points on each continent and thought it would make a great Spell Out Challenge! I don’t have time to host it, but thought I’d suggest it here.Africa - Mount Kilimanjaro
Antarctica - Vinson Massif
Asia - Mount Everest
Australia - Mount Kosciuszko
Europe - Mount Elbrus
North America - Denali
South America - Aconcagua
I just started the Southern Utah National Parks Tour - do the days have to be done in order or can we do the tasks in any order?

OHHH! Great idea Daniel! I'll copy it out and use it soon. Thanks!
I could even write other challenges around this idea!

I have been trying for several days to connect with my Its All in a Name challenge and Pyramid of Books challenge. I get the message that Goodreads has timed out. I am not having trouble connecting with any other challenge. Is there a problems with these challenges?

It's Goodreads. I have timed out on the main page of the site many times. I do not know what in the heck they are doing!

It got archived. You should be keeping the "address" of your challenges.
Here's the link to your challenge.

If you know the name of the challenge, or even a significant word in the name, you can search the group this way. It's very useful :)

Hi, I hope this is the correct place to pose this question. 😉For task 10 in the Reading the Seasons-Fall Challenge: Read a book where you find the words PUMPKIN SPICE in the text.
Do the words PUMPKIN and SPICE have to be together? Or can they be 2 separate words, in separate locations in the book?

Hi, the Cool Crayon Names challenge looks like a lot of fun. 😁 Does the first letter of each word of the book title have to be in the same order as the first letter of the crayon name? Or can the book title have the first letter of the word in any order? Example -
Crayon name: Granny Smith Apple
Book title (made up title): She Goes Anywhere
The other question I had was some of the crayon names have a 2 word minimum. Aquamarine, Cerulean, Eggplant, etc. How does that work? Both words must start with the same letter such as A, C or E?
We did another challenge similar to this one called Things To Do With A Carton of Eggs.
I'll just show a few of my tasks.
2. Shakshuka (2)
SS SECRET Shared L. Marie Adeline 11/12/20
3. Egg Baskets Benedict (3)
TDE The Deep End Kristen Ashley 10/25/20
5. Yogurt-Ricotta Cheesecake (3)
ATS Against the Sky Kat Martin 11/13/20
6. Broccoli Ham Quiche (3)
LCC Low Country Christmas Lee Tobin McClain 3/5/21
The letters can be anywhere in the crayon name. For a 2 word minimum like Aquamarine, the title could be Indigo Ridge or Rough Enough - it does not have to begin with A.
Cerulean could be Changing Lines
Eggplant could be The Gorgeous Girls or A New Place

Hi, I was thinking with the Easy as 1,2,3 challenge - what about doing it not just for the first three books in the series but the next ones too? For example 4, 5, 6 or mix it like maybe 2, 3, 4 ... - of course they would have to be consecutive numbers ... Cause I hardly read more than the first three books 😅.
That's why we have the Ducks In A Row challenge.
Rules: Read books from the same series or ‘mix-n-match’ – as long as it is at least three in a row. Like 3, 4, 5? Or 11, 12, 13? 17, 18, 19?
(You do NOT have to read them in that order.)
As long as you keep it all in a row.
There can NOT be more than three from the same series in the same grouping...
Tell us the name of the series.

Hi, For the Pink Floyd Challenge part of task 8 is "Read a book with the letters W, M, G, and W in the title".
Are we to find a book title with 2 W's? Or was the second W supposed to be a different letter?

Hi, sorry, it's me again! 😊🙋🏼♀️For the Goodness Gracious Great Genres, does 'Paranormal Romance' need to have both words together in the tag? Or can it be separately tagged as Paranormal and also tagged as Romance to count? Hope this question makes sense. Thanks.
