I love it! I have read many of the novels mentioned, so it was especially funny to me.

That was great. I'm going to start reading Titus Groan in October. I'm reading it because it's classic fantasy, I had no idea until now that it was also considered gothic. Now I'm looking forward to it more than ever.

I love Gothic fiction. Also, there is something known as Southern gothic.

My favorite Southern gothic writers are Carson McCullers and Michael McDowell. Faulkner's story A Rose for Emily is also excellent.
