Thanks for setting up the thread, Pink!I'm a little more than halfway through the book, and hope to finish as soon as possible. So far, I enjoy the story, or rather the stories :) Looking forward to discuss it!
I hope to find time for this, since it´s waiting in the shelf. But it´s going to go end of the month, if even then :/

Me too.
Me too.

Has anyone else started reading yet? How much have you read? Do you like it?
So far I'm interested by the puzzling nature of the book. Keeping tabs of the different elements. The switch in narration in the chapters is a little unsettling but I guess it enhances the mystery.
I didn't join the buddy read this month as I have previously read this particular book, but I'm excited about hearing Margaret Atwood speak today. I just finished her Oryx & Crake series and will be able to bring my copy of Dancing Girls for her to sign - so cool!

For me, it was like reading entirely different stories (I actually liked the story about Sakiel-Norn the most in the beginning). But the more you read, the more it all makes sense (I've finished the book yesterday, and in the end, it makes perfect sense).
Btw, don't worry about real life getting in the way, we've got lots of time ;)

I do also like the Sakiel-Norn world. Pondering right now at the succession of events outside Laura's book.
