I listen to his books in my car too. They are really fascinating.

People who have a much smaller TBR will probably have a harder time with this one. A trip to the library or bookstore might be in store for a lot of people if this prompt is chosen

I agree Francesca. I was looking through books i've read and the books on my shelves and not too many have no E's. Finding a book for this one would be a challenge itself.

The trick is: shorter titles.

***Yes, I do realize it is a few days away yet. I'm just a bit anxious. :-)

While not all fairytales are classics, I think you would be very hard pressed to find a retelling that isn't based on a classic fairytale (Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel, etc). Don't get me wrong, I love a good fairytale retelling as well, I just don't see why we need two categories that are essentially the same thing. Unless the addendum was added that the classic CAN'T be a fairytale which is what I would do for myself if both were chosen.

For myths and fairytales (related, but two different things), the only problem I can see is if you object to YA.
'A book based on a fairytale' isn't faring well in the poll so unless there is a big shift in the voting, I don't think we need to worry about the overlap ;)

Yes, Kirsten I understand that more books fall under that category too but technically a classic fairytale does too. There is a thread here for people to post links to the topics we have already chosen. If you pop over there you can see the lists that I recommended. I don't know how many the mods will use but they seemed like good lists to me anyway. :-)
Good to know Laura. And sorry that I am always panicking about things that don't matter! :-)
No worries, I appreciate anything that members point out. I try to look at the suggestions but I think some of it should be left up to the voting and it looks like this one was viewed the way that you're looking at it.

I've noticed that too! Also ones where the wouldn't be an 'E' but the title starts with 'The' so I kind of forget that there is an 'E' in it.
