Finally received it. I just went ahead and read it since you guys have moved onto the next book. Here are my final thoughts though.

Finished: (view spoiler)[ It wasn't as good as I remembered when I first read it but I was in middle school at the time. I liked that it was easy to read and to follow along but I had issues with a lot of things concerning this book. Suze was reckless and often got herself and other people around her in trouble. I hated that she kept saying, "I've been doing this for this" and "I got this" to father Dom. I mean, Father Dom's older and probably have been doing this longer than she has. I hated how she didn't or couldn't accept help from others when she should have. I think she got really lucky with Heather. She really could have been killed.

I did like the side characters Cee Cee and Adam. Honestly, I forgot all about them and still don't remember reading about them. I love the three brothers. They're adorable! Especially Doc! What really kept this book from falling apart for me was the main plot. The idea of Jesse living in her room for over a century and also the mystery around kept this book entertaining for me. I also enjoyed reading about Heather and how she just couldn't be forced to move on. It's a solid 3 stars for me. (hide spoiler)]

I love Suze and her sense of humor and Doc is also a favorite character of mine. Just the super sweet loving little brother type :) I know Michael is this whole geek, but I wonder if it'll become any more once Suze spends time with him and gets to know him better. Suze has a way of kind of getting herself in trouble when it comes to these things too. She is lucky that Gina called Father Dom! I really do keep wondering how much longer Suze can keep all of this a secret from everyone. Michael was brought to justice the correct way and the angels can now rest. This series is such a fun read. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of shenanigans Suze gets into in the next book ;) (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-4

I’m totally loving this little Jack kid! lol it’s awesome that Suze was able to help him - who knows what will happen when he leaves, but at least he knows he isn’t crazy and doesn’t have to be afraid. But hey....while we’re talking about crazy...Maria!! Holy moly! That girl definitely has something to hide and isn’t the sweet girl Jesse made her out to be. Not anymore anyway.
I think the way Suze handled everything at the historical society was a bit out of character for her. And this book is definitely playing g her love for Jesse a whole lot harder than it has been made out to be in past books (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Paul is super persistent with Suze and I agree that I don’t know that I want him knowing everything about the mediator situation and all discussions between Suze and Jack. That all just seems kind of private to me. When Jack said he had something to tell Suze and he was super excited about it I had a gut feeling that it had something to do with Jesse being gone.
The idea of Maria and Felix both showing up is pretty intimidating! He mentioned talking to Maria about mediators - I wonder what al was going down. Maria obviously knew close Jesse and Suze where - explains why she wanted to get rid of him!
Can I say how surprised I am that Father D is going along with the whole exorcising Suze thing? He is right though - if he didn’t help her do it she’d definitely do it on her own and possibly ger hurt in the process. That girl is so stubborn! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I did enjoy the storyline here, but I do feel like they played super hard on Suze's love of Jesse on this one. Almost over the top. The exorcism of Suze turned out ok in the end, but it was crazy that such drastic measures had to be taken this time around!
Still suuuuuper skeptical of everything with Paul and curious about Jack and how he'll get on with his new information. These are the kind of characters I find hard to let go of.

I finished the third book this morning. Really like how the villain is a bit different each book. Espesially this book.
I decided to just start the darkest hour straight away, I actualy have a bind up of 3 and 4, and 4 actually starts right after 3 on the next page, then after a few pages it stops and there is a title page and the same pages come again. Kind of funny.

I was in a mood so In just read book 4 in one sitting. Great read. And yes that scene at the end of the book WOW. Thinking I will move on to book 5 now actually, yes I have library books to read as well but still in SUCH a Mediator move its like why not :)
Really nice you Kelli love the series as well. Seems like Rikhika has stopped reading the series altotogether.

I agree that I like how the villian is a bit different each time. They had to go through such different measures each book to handle the particular situation and spirit. These are fun reads - I'm kind of bouncing back and forth between a few series, but I'll for sure be back with book 5! :)

(view spoiler)[ I'm super on the fence concerning Paul I'm still insanely curious what all he can do and how this shifting thing works, but I also feel like hes maybe going about all of this the wrong way with Suze. She would react so much better if he were just nice and 'hey, look what I found and what we can do' but that's just the way he is huh? Suze doesn't seem to completely hate it though - there is definitely a part of her that is attracted to him.
Neil definitely needs some help processing Craigs death - I feel for him :-( Craig will probably be better once he moves past the anger too - it wasn't Neil's fault that Craig died (hide spoiler)]

I just don't know what to do with him! lol he's definitely a pain, but I still find myself so curious about what he knows/what he can do and HOW he knows all of this! And now I find myself super curious about his family and grandfather as well. I always over analyze and find myself with a million questions lol
