Why Do Things Fall Apart?

The poet Yeats said, “Things fall apart; the center cannot hold.” Then along came Chinua Achebe and a book he entitled "Things Fall Apart" in which he wrote, “When suffering knocks at your door and you say there is no seat left for him, he tells you not to worry because he has brought his own stool.”
