How long does it take for an ebook on Amazon to appear on Goodreads?

Hi - We put Candy Cane Kisses on preorder on Amazon Wednesday, June 29, but still haven't seen it appear on Goodreads. Just so I'm not checking every hour (LOL) could you tell me the average timeframe for a new listing on Amazon to appear on Goodreads?

It varies greatly; there is no specific timeframe. But it's fine to add the book manually. No need to wait for the import bot if you'd rather not.

I waited another day, and it's still not there. Rivka, do you think that if I created the entry, and then Amazon comes later and adds the book, will the two entries be merged, or will we end up having two listings? Thank you.

If you add the book including the ASIN* (and with format Kindle), Amazon won't add a new edition.

*in the ASIN field -- if you add it to the ISBN field, Amazon will not recognize it
