J In the interest of time (we got a late start and July 1st is almost upon us), We will conclude our discussion with one final thread as opposed to two. Join in with any comments, questions, etc. As always, out of consideration for those still reading, please clearly indicate if you are posting a spoiler.
Our story continues and ends with all loose threads wrapped up. Alex reveals that Elise and Robert had an affair. Did that link their murders? Callie and Hunter reveal their previous relationships with Robert and the murder suspects abound. And oh those chickens!:D On a serious note, Sophie is attacked in her own home and is saved by none other than Kevin, who finally gets the life he wanted. Martha's role in everything is revealed and Our heroine Sophie solves both murders.
Another fabulous Diva story concludes...hope you all enjoyed the read.
A big thank you to Ms. Krista Davis for joining us and being kind enough to answer a few questions. Can't wait for the next episode of The Diva!

Yes, it was another great story for us. Characters we have come to know and care about! Well, maybe not Natasha, but most of them...

First off, I did not guess the "whodunnit" though it would have been very difficult to, given the complexity of the situation. Robert certainly a heel, though not without his charm to many of the women. I really am tickled with the character of Kevin. Though not a typical kid, certainly, he still was most believable. And charming, of course.

J I have yet to read the Diva book I haven't enjoyed!
Thanks again Krista- not just for joining us but for giving us this terrific series.

Jill Tool | 992 comments I never read a Diva book until I joined this group, and I loved it! Then I went back and started reading them and although I'm not all the way caught up to Diva Tea in the series, I have made a dent in them, I should be all caught up before Christmas. After reading a couple of them, I was so hooked on the Diva, that it's one of my favorite series! I also like the Paws and Claws series. I've got the new on already Pre-ordered.

J Jill, I re-read mine according to the seasons; not just for the story but for Krista's descriptions of Oldtown at that time of the year- the flowers that are in bloom, the trees, the decorations on the houses, even Sophie's wardrobe! I know we have decried wardrobe descriptions in other books but in The Diva series somehow it seems to fit. And of course those delicious recipes!
I have been hooked since I read the first one. This is my all time favorite series. [Could you tell?;)]

Allison | 905 comments I had not read any in this series until I joined this group either. I really like it. I think we do need Natasha in the series though to keep Sophie from being too perfect, she needs an interruption sometimes. I'm not sure I'm putting it properly into words but without Natasha it might be too bland. Although I still think she's an Air-Head, lol, she's good comic relief.

Natasha's Mom is wonderful and just the breath of fresh air and attitude needed (for Natasha but I think she & Sophie may be kindred spirits too). And, yes, the chickens were great!

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments Thanks again, Krista! I did not read some of the books in the series (I think have read 4 of them) but I was able to jump right into this one.

Sophie really is a saint to put up with Natasha!! I really do love all of the other characters but I don't see Sophie and Alex together for the long term. I think she can do better. I'm starting to really like Bernie so maybe they could hook up LOL

Just started this section so I won't look at the posts just yet. That Rosie thing keeps popping up. I've a feeling it's gonna mean a whole different thing that what we're thinking.

That Robert was a piece of work. Did not see all that coming!

Done! All's well that ends well. I love that The Parlour and the antique store look to be in business for the future.
