It's been crazy the last few days... go away for an hour and there's 27 notifications... mostly in FBR

I've requested for the 10th, but if anyone wants to change it please just shout. I kinda forgot how long this beast is, so might not have allowed long enough for Dani and Zaara. Whew. 1000 pages. In the UK it comes in two separate books.

I have both books, I'm definitely going to read it in two halves, it looks much less intimidating that way!

I've been doing the same... I started getting up a half hour earlier to bring my meals to work, and instead spend most of it on Goodreads... almost need ANOTHER half hour...

If I spent less time on GR and more time reading I'd get loads more done!
Charlie wrote: "I'm wanting to read
either in December or some time early next year if anyone wants to join me?"I've got it lined up on the Kindle, so am cool to hop in on a read sometime soon. It looks like a quick enough read, so I should be able to fit it in at any point in the coming months :)

Super! How about 1st December?
I want to read this but think I'm already fully booked for December. Will try to join you if by some miracle I get time.
Siobhan wrote: "I want to read this but think I'm already fully booked for December. Will try to join you if by some miracle I get time."You first Dec buddy read isn't until the 5th, 5 days is loads of time! As long as you finish Before They Are Hanged in 4 days you'll be fine! I'm totally not stalking your buddy read tracker or anything...
Aye but notice we have Well of Ascension like 24th, then Before They are Hanged 27th, so I'm deffo gonna be late to that one, or reading them side by side!
I was picked to do the group vote picks for the month of February, and this might be one of the titles that you can vote on... Just sayin!Nevernight that is!

Ooh I'll hold off requesting a thread for now then :)

Let's not forget those amazing Canadians!
So just added this lovely little book
to my collection and plan to dig in to it! Just a question for my friends on here. Why does the (UK?) paperback edition have parts 1 and 2 of Book One, while I have only one volume? Do I need another one which I'm missing or do I have the whole thing in one tome?
Ps really sorry guys ive been really bad with my buddy reads...not the fastest reader and very busy with the restaraunt so i opted out of a few in hopes to start the game of thron3s one in December.Sorry!!

is a bind up of
and
. So you have both parts in one book :)I just preferred to have it split into two books because it was so huge and intimidating on it's own.
Pretty much you got the full book because for some reason gollancz released the 2 books into 2 parts which I find slightly annoying and I think the bind up came next is the full WOK book you got the one you've shown or is it a different cover And I believe they have released oathbringer as one book so that's okay
Those covers look like Mistborn books... when Oathbringer comes in 2 books, they'll each be closer to the size of the top Way of Kings book...

I love pretty hardcovers for my shelf but I find them really difficult to physically read so I prefer smaller books for actually reading.
Ahdam wrote: "Cool I got that edition from book depository and I may get oathbringer from there as well"Yes i need to get that and Radiance first
Sounds like it would be convenient if the Hardcover came with an ebook download code like DVDs/Blu-Ray do...
Charlie wrote: "I love pretty hardcovers for my shelf but I find them really difficult to physically read so I prefer smaller books for actually reading."Great!...that means we can have each book ×2! Actually though way of kings feels really comfortable to read!. You should try my Lord of rings ilustrated edition it has those shiny white pages for the drawings to show nicely and weighs a ton!

That sounds fab! I didn't realise there was an illustrated edition of LotR.

I did, thrice. When someone goes on for that long and is that rambly, it's hard to decipher. I imagine you mean well, and I wish you well at the same time Zaara, but I really can't understand you very well when you go on like that.

Yeah that might be the best thing to do. Here's the only group that I'm active anymore so I won't mind the notification assault for a while :)

The incomparable Laura and my humble self are planning to read the World of the Five Gods series by Lois McMaster Bujold. The trilogy starts with The Curse of Chalion and we want to read it December 10. Please join, it is going to be fun!
