I haven't read Changelings though I read most of her Dragon books. I'd like to read it with you Joanne but I could only do it towards the end of the month. After I finish Chalion. I have a lot of reads scheduled in between.

I have a lot of r..."Okay. I picked out the Chagelings series because I looked on a database and was interested in books about people that live in a water world. At first I was looking for books about intelligent dolphins but didn't find anything that appealed to me. Then I found Maelstrom which is McCaffrey's second book of this series. I'm starting out with the first. Its good so far. I hope someone will join me.

I would read that one with you but I'll have to wait until it becomes available. I'm also new to McCaffrey.
I've put it on hold. I probably couldn't do it this month though I have a few buddy reads lined up already.
If anyone else is interested in Dragonflight maybe we could pick a date for a bit later on (if that works for you Joanne)?

I'll add it to my Buddy Read Tracker.One day we should read The Sarantine Mosaic also though. As far as I understood it is one of the best romantic fantasy series ever written.

I have Dragonsdawn by MacCaffrey on my TBR this year Emily. It is the first of the Pern Series but was published only after the original trilogy starting with Dragonflight. Dragonsdawn describes how people settled on Pern and dragons were made while the trilogy is set centuries after. If you decide to read Dragonsdawn I'd love to buddy read with you.

I'm interested in reading dragonsflight and dragonsdawn :)

Here's some of what I'm considering starting once I'm cleaned up. I'm just throwing these out there to gauge interest. I don't want to let my list get out of control again so I'd like to schedule a book a month until each series is done.
Broken Earth The Fifth Season 3 books, 3rd due out in August.
Ketty Jay Retribution Falls 4 books all published.
The Macht The Ten Thousand 3 books all published.
Summoner The Novice 3.5 books all published.
Steelhaven Herald of the Storm 3 books all published.
Echoes of Empire The Garden of Stones 3 books all published.
Lotus War Stormdancer 3 books all published.
I'm also considering a bunch of longer series such as The Expanse (9 books), Hellquin(7), Peter Grant (6), Falling Kingdoms (6) and Red Knight (5) but I don't know that people will stick it out for that long so I'll probably just do these alone.

Also Herald of storm is another one of those interests because I found it along with the red knight so if you want to do a buddy read on that I might join in

Angela has already fixed for us Tigana on the 1st of August and Sarantine Mosaic on the 1st of September. Could we move the start date for the Novice series a little after 1st? I wouldn't want to make the mistake of double booking again like this month.

Hmmm, I read Retribution Falls awhile back and kept meaning to get back to those. I'll keep that in mind..
