4. In July 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage II (T2) invasive bladder cancer. Following three months of chemo-therapy, I underwent a radical cystectomy in January 2016 and have been cancer free since then.

4. I was put in the back of the class as a child behind the A-B-C flip board so other kids would not be distracted by my staring off and blinking a lot during reading/writing class. Teachers often called me a daydreamer and lazy when it came to reading. We've come a long way since those days with persons having social disorders.
