Mallory (view spoiler)[ has really had a rough life! Foster homes aren't all bad but those that are seem to be horrific! I'm glad she has Rider now. (hide spoiler)]

Rider (view spoiler)[seems to truly care about Mallory. I like him a or so far but I'm worried what's going on with him and Hector. Hopefully it's just "innocent" boy trouble and nothing major like drugs or gangs. (hide spoiler)]

Kiera (view spoiler)[ seems nice but I don't trust her yet, mainly because Rider didn't like the idea that Kiera wanted Mallory to try out for cheer. So that made me think that he knew it might not be innocent. (hide spoiler)]

We had a boat ride today and we had dolphins ALL around us, tons of them right in front of our noses. It was the most awesome sight ever!!

I'm home now but what a BLAST we had! One night we had a guest speaker who did pottery/clay lessons (and a spiritual lesson) and every grandchild who wanted to was able to make their own clay bowl. So we were up until 11:30 doing that...so fun!

Ainsley: (view spoiler)[ I just can't say enough about her. I loved her character and the type of friend she was to Mallory. I felt terrible about her eye condition but I was also happy to see her handle it so well. (hide spoiler)]

I wasn't totally hooked at first but I ended up really loving it, the struggles he/they went through, etc. Some parts weren't totally credible to me, but it is a book after all so I went with it. Ha ha! I just hope you don't hate it!

Didn't hate it but yea....it just didn't feel very original - it felt very formulaic with a typical New Adult theme.
