Cultural Description:
Once a year all Sirens gather around to what they call Feasting island, a place where many sailors pass by. Humans call it Despair Island. On July 18th all Sirens join in song that can be heard for miles, ensuring all Sirens a nice meal
Sirens are beautiful yet aggressive creatures. With their songs they enchant unlucky sailors passing by with songs that the victims want to hear maybe even about glory and gold. Sirens are rarely born with kindness when when they are they are casted out or aten by their parents. Some also say the tears of a Siren can cure death((Idk why but i thought of Pirates of the Caribbean))

Home World: Nirvana
Special Abilities: extra bones and muscles in their feet and legs to help them be able to climb the mountains better. Larger lungs to take in more oxygen at the high altitudes. Can see in the dark for when inside caves. Wings for flying over mountain gorges but can only fly short distances.
Appearance: height varies like in humans. Blueish hued skin, large wings with waterproof, almost leather like feathers of different colors, long powerful legs, slightly large eyes, small bat-like ears
Cultural Description: Peaceful, working people. Have many holidays and festivals for the Harvest, the Planting, the gods Melody, Osiris, and Solaris, and the Anivarsary of the end of the 100 year war. They work as farmers, traders, miners, or hydroelectricity engineers. Few become servants in the castle.

I will not be creating the dragon race (or faun, centaur, Pegasus, griffin, unicorn, etc.) But they are all races that characters can be made for

Kitsune
Home World:
Hinansho
Special Abilities:
Kitsune are able to communicate with all animals. They also have very long lives, superior intelligence, and enhanced senses. Unlike other inhabitants of Hinansho, Kitsune are still able to return to their animal form. This gives them the advantage in any fights, as Kitsune are quite large. Kitsune are extremely charismatic, allowing them to fool people easily, especially Ejiki.
Appearance:
Kitsune have a mainly human appearance with the ears and tails of a fox. The more tails a Kitsune has, the more powerful they are considered. Lighter fur is also considered superior, as white furred Kitsune are said to be closer to heaven than dark furred Kitsune.
Cultural Description:
When the new species of creatures emerged on Hinansho, fighting broke out between the Ejiki and the predators in a period called Yami. The Ejiki managed to push the predators past the Baria Mountain Range and into Rengoku. The Kitsune managed to talk their way out of exile and were allowed to stay in the Baria Mountains in exchange for protection against the other predators. After awhile, the Kitsune began asking for more from the Ejiki, mainly food. Now, the Ejiki provide the Kitsune with most of their food, as none of the Ejiki are brave enough to fight back. The Kitsune use their charm to talk down anyone who dares speak out against them. They live a relatively laid back lifestyle in a village built in the mountains. The Kitsune are ruled by monarchy. Because Kitsune are mostly female, they are a matriarchy ruled by and Empress.

Predators

Hinansho
Special Abilities:
Predators have the ability to communicate with other animals that are predators. Because of the wide variety, all different species of Predators have different abilities. Most are physical attributes that come from their animal ancestry such as the ability of flight, ability to breathe underwater, or enhanced senses. The Predators have long since forgotten how to use magic.
Appearance:
Predators have a mainly human appearance with a few features of their animal ancestors, such as their ears, tails, eyes, and wings. They are generally built larger than Ejiki species.
Cultural Description:
Predators are more animalistic than the other inhabitants of Hinansho. Because of the tougher conditions in Rengoku, they have to fight to survive. They can live in packs or on their own, but they are almost always moving in search of their next meal. Some Predators have learned to adapt to eating an omnivorous diet, but none have been able to survive on a vegetarian diet. There are no laws and no governments except those established by individual packs. Predators dislike the Ejiki and hold a grudge against the Kitsune for siding with the Ejiki.

Ejiki have the ability to communicate with other animals of prey. This is the only ability that all Ejiki have in common. Because of the wide variety, all different species of Ejiki have different abilities. Most are physical attributes that come from their animal ancestry such as the ability of flight, ability to breathe underwater, or enhanced senses. A few Ejiki are blessed with the ability to heal, but it is ancient magic and it has been diluted over the years, making it weak.
Appearance:
Ejiki have a mainly human appearance with a few features of their animal ancestors, such as their ears, tails, eyes, and wings. They are generally built smaller than predator species.
Cultural Description:
Ejiki are very peaceful creatures, as breaking the peace results in exile to Rengoku. They reside in Tengoku, where they live in harmony with nature. There are very few structures in Tengoku except for the houses of its inhabitants. Ejiki generally live in caves, tree houses, and burrows. Most of the Ejiki are gatherers, but a few keep gardens to make finding food easier. There isn't a leader, but there is a council made up of one representative for every major species. (Rabbits, Birds, Fish, Mice, Squirrels, etc.) The only predators that they are willing to interact with are the Kitsune, who offer them protection against the other predators in exchange for a certain portion of the food collected by the Ejiki.

Special Abilities: Very few have the ability to use magic. The ones who live in the Mines of Spade.
Appearance: Scallion look like humans except they have two toned hair and an extra kidney

Name: Restiors (pronounced rest=eee-ors)
Home World: Gollasa
Special Abilities: The Restiors can teleport (move from place to place knowingly in a matter of seconds) and have telekinesis (move things with their mind)
Appearance: Restiors all have midnight black hair and green, purple, or in rare cases, red eyes. Their skin is very light even at the darkest shade. It differs from a pale ivory to a light peach. (I would post a picture but I can't find what I want)
Cultural Description: Restiors are a very rare breed, dying off ever since their lord Descroce died. About 1 in 900,000 people are Restiors.

Home World: Crag
Special Abilities: Daimons [Idea from greek mythology, Charon the ferryman is a daimon] can change shape to look like any animal, whatever animal they're thinking of. Usually, the appear like [refer to appearance]. Daimons are strong in black magic and necromancy. They can raise an army of undead, or cast strong magics that are capable of taking over other's minds.

Cultural Description:
They are part of Osiris' clan, and they are focused on freeing Osiris from his moon prison. The daimons will hold a big ceremony every month, at the full moon, where they kidnap another from another world and sacrifice the other to Osiris. Young daimons are taught nercomancy and black magic from 3 months old.

Home World: Crag
Special Abilities:
There are many different types of Corae. They are in charge of weather, and have powers that can manipulate the weather to their will. There is a council of Corae on Crag that creates the everyday weather. If there's a sunny day and suddenly a hurricane comes, blame the hurricane Corae.
Appearance:

They are half snake half human, and naturally good natured.
Cultural Description:
Naturally, the Corae are supporters of Solaris, but some support Melody. No Corae every support Osiris. There is a once in three months festival called "the festival of the winds" where there is a weather show- lights, thunder, sun etc. The Corae compete in a bunch of fun activities during the festival of the winds.

Home World: Crag
Special Abilities: These animal-headed magicians are incredible sorcerers, able to summon powerful helpers in battle and perform feats of magic. They can turn into whatever animal their head is. For example, a jackal-headed Ekryptian can turn into a jackal. [Idea from egyptian mythology- animal headed gods]

Cultural Description:
The Ekryptians are direct descendents of Solaris, and are in charge of keeping balance in Crag. Some Ekryptians are sent away to different worlds, to keep balance there as well. They don't have much culture, they just exist to maintain balance. They dress fancily, [refer to pictures]

Home World: Crag
Special Abilities: The Horai are the seasons in person. They are able to change the seasons in a blink of the eye, and they are the ones who arrange the change of seasons. Want christmas? Call over a winter Horai to your place. They can change the season in a specific place, for example over a forest or something. These nymphs interact with the Corae for seasonal weather arrangements. These nymphs are not immortal, but can live for a very long time.

Cultural Description:
They don't much have a culture. They change the seasons as they come and go, and they celebrate the festivals like christmas, halloween, new years, and more like the rest of the universe.

Home World: Tandra
Special Abilities: Each night at the rise of the moon they turn into full wolves though this process is uncontrollable and painful. The turn back into their normal form when the moon sets.
Appearance: During the day they look like humans but at night they turn into wolves.
Cultural Description: Werewolves are a tribal race. Each tribe has a Alpha, Beta, omega, warriors, and scouts. Alpha is the leader. Beta is the Alpha's number 2. Omega is an advisor to the Alpha. Warriors fight for the tribe. Scouts spy on other tribes and find food.

Home World: Tandra
Special Abilities: Vampires can run at unhumanly speed. They also have enhanced smell.
Appearance: Vampires have pale skin, sometimes sparkling in the sunlight though that is rare. They also usually have oddly colored eyes. The least noticeable feature is their fangs
Cultural Description: Vampires live in either small tribes or on their own, feeding off of any non vampire that crosses their path. Most are part of the cult of Osiris

Home World: Tandra
Special Abilities: Shape Shifters can shape shift into any animal they can picture.
Appearance: Shape Shifters look like humans except they have a birthmark shaped like a dagger somewhere on their body.
Cultural Description: Shape Shifters are tribal. They work together as a tribe to sustain themselves and don't really interact with any one else. They are strict when it comes to breaking laws or killing another shape shifter. This usually leads to banishment.

Home World: Tandra
Special Abilities: powerful Daemon can manipulate the souls of the living. All Daemon can use mist magic, creating illusions and choking people.
Appearance: Daemon usually have skin anywhere from black, grey, or white, and all shades in betweem. Most have red, purple, or black eyes. They usually have leathery or skeletal wings. They also have horns of all shaps and sizes.
Cultural Description: Daemon only care about themselves. They will openly attack other Daemon. Their are some who are warriors and servants for Osiris.
Name: Surya
Home World: Sol
Special Abilities: They possess morphallaxis - cell regeneration - and negligible senescence, making them biologically immortal by halting the aging process. They can regrow entire limbs, and on rare cases, the severed body part can regrow a body, essentially making a clone. They might have complications during the regeneration process, leading to four arms or two heads. They can not heal in cold climates, so the freezing nights of Sol pose a sever threat to them. The more inbred they are, the quicker they heal, due to the thicker ichor of Solaris and Gaia become when this happens. All Surya can not swim. They can doggie paddle for a few minuets before going under, once under water, they will flail around and drown, unable to reach the surface. The colder the water, the quicker they drown.
Appearance: Nearly all Suryas have blonde hair and blue eyes due to the incest of their progenitors, Phoebe and Phoebus. Ginger hair and green eyes are a recessive gene among them, coming from Gaia's side of their ancestry.
Cultural Description: The Surya, depending on their location, have different customs and traditions, however, they all answer to Hyperion, the island center of the planet and home to Helios, the self-proclaimed incarnate of Sol. They practice fire worship. They have basins of burning coals, as ever fire is an emanations of Sol's sacred solar flame. They would throw seed pods of the Sol flower into it, causing the pods to burst, making the seeds spark and the color of the flame turn into a rich green-blue. This was a sign that Sol has heard their prayer. Surya burned their offerings to Sol alive, they even did this to their food, so the meat was properly cooked. Criminals with extreme offenses were burned alive as well.

Home World: Sol
Special Abilities: Deva are elemental spirits, able to manipulate one element.
Appearance: Every Deva is unique in appearance, but a common trait is multiple arms. However, not all possess this.
Cultural Description: Deva have no culture. Each Deva is different from another in appearance, and after being born, they go out and live their own lives. Devas do not survive mating, as the male is killed upon climax and the female dies upon childbirth. A litter of Deva can be up to nine at a time or as little as three. They can be helpful to Surya or deceitful.
Name: Asura
Home World: Sol
Special Abilities: Asura are incredibly strong and fast. They can not survive in sunlight, but in the dead of night, they can move as fast as the wind and massacre an entire village in mere minuets.
Appearance:
Cultural Description: Asura are gluttonous creatures, sadistic in nature. They are the mortal enemies of the Deva, and will attack one on sight no matter what. They come out of their caves and underground burrows at night to torture Surya before they flay them alive and cook and eat them.

Home World: Sol
Special Abilities: They are skilled in singing and can speak. They can breath underwater and swim fast.
Appearance:
Cultural Description: Aspara of the ocean are all female and mate with the male Gandharva of land.
Name: Gandharva
Home World: Sol
Special Abilities: They are skilled in martial arts and can speak. They can breath at high altitudes and can fly.
Appearance:
Cultural Description: Gandharva of the land are all male and mate with the female Aspara of the sea.
Name: Rakshasa
Home World: Sol
Special Ability: They radiate lava and molten gold. They can mimic the last sound they heard, including human speech. They use this to lure out their prey, Surya. They are most active at night.

Cultural Description: They live in pride, lead by an alpha male. They are mortal enemies with Vanara. They are found in the rain forests.
Name: Vanara
Home World: Sol
Special Ability: They can speak some human words and use basic tools.
Appearance:
Cultural Description: They are the mortal enemies of the Rakshasa. They live in matriarchal societies within the rain forests. When they can not breed with the opposite gender, they will breed with the same sex to sate their desires. They worship lighting as a manifestation of Sol's wrath and power.
Name: Garuda
Home World: Sol
Special Ability: Gardudas can generate fire. They enjoy burning villages to the ground. Their feathers turn into flames when they shed. When their eggs hatch, they emit a burst of flames.
Appearance:
Cultural Description: They are the mortal enemies of Naga. They eat Naga hatchlings, but none are stupid enough to go up against an adult, as their poison can kill them. They scavenge for food when not eating Naga children.
Name: Naga
Home World: Sol
Special Ability: Nagas are poisonous and can grow back a head when it is cut off. Nagas can naturally grow up to nine heads as they age, being born with only one. The heads may fight as they have individual personalities.
Appearance:
Cultural Description: They are the mortal enemies of the Garuda. They spend their first few years in water, where they hatch, before going on land. Some, if born near the sea, will head out into the oceans opposed to the land.
Name: Tulpa
Home World: Sol
Special Abilities: Tulpas are ghost-like remnants of the first race Sol. They possess Surya hosts to interact with the physical world. They can materialize objects, called thought-forms, while possessing someone. This includes food and drink, weapons and armor. They retain the information their host knows, allowing them to accumulate knowledge. However, this comes at the cost of their own memories of their first life. They can not abide sunlight and must possess rock or trees during daytime to protect themselves from its harsh, radiated rays. They come out at night to possess Surya while they sleep, as it is when their minds are most vulnerable.
Appearance:
Cultural Description: While most Tulpas are hostile and possess Surya for the thrill of debauchery - including, but not limited to: drinking, partying and fornication - some can make a symbiotic relationship with the body the possess, using their ability to create objects, including weapons and tools, to protect them from danger.

Home World: Treatis
Special Abilities: There minds are quick thinking and they have a posion ivy esque magic where they can control pheromones in the air to be more persuasive or other emotional effects. And in rare cases they gain an ablity known as "Death Trance", A power that allows them to mind control in a way one person. As long as the victim has a lower intellect than the cotroller, they can keep it up. Its hard but not impossible to break the trance.
Appearance: They are about as human as human can get, except for small horns that come out their heads.
Cultural Description: These are the most populated members of Treatis, known as Mini Devils, these people lie, cheat and lie some more to get to power and will back-stab any one to do so. They crave power and as such made themselves the superior race.

Home World: Treatis
Special Abilities: The have mental abilities three for whoever to choose. Telekinesis, Telepathy, or Neurocognitive Deficit (rarest one). And can breath underwater
Appearance: They are deathly pale from their time in the darkness. They have either black or grey hair and slightly larger eyes. They all have scars on their neck at birth that act like magical gills that glow blue when they enter the water.
Cultural Description: This group of peolpe drew the short straw. They were once Uchawi, the normal peolpe, but were turn to the underground to be slaves many a year ago. They slowly mutated to live better in their enviorment and work in Adrhi.

Home World: Treatis
Special Abilities: The have extreme strength and a high tolerance to pain.
Appearance: Humanoids; They are all large with stark white hair. There eye color ranges from blue to black to white. They all are naturally bulky, even the females and they have hair on there feet. Most man cannot grow hair on their heads but plenty on their face.
Cultural Description: Kubebas are the great Hunters in the Tundra Mountain Range. They are carnivores and will eat anyone and anything that comes in their path. They form tribes and live with each other. There is a leader with 10-20 men and about 10 woman, then all their children. Every new mon the celebrate the Day of Darkness and will make sacrifices to Zanroar, the Great Hunter.
