Camber | 4 comments I picked up a book at the airport, I believe when I was going home for Christmas in 2009. Because it was a small airport shop, I would guess it was published within a year or two before that. (And no, I don't still have the book. It's been lost in one of my many moves since then.)

The cover looks very similar to the white cover for "Eleanor & Park"--so much so that when I saw Eleanor and Park, I thought it was the same book. (White background with lots of negative space.) The title was also of the same format: "[First name] and [First name]." However, when I read E&P, it was clear that it wasn't the same book.

It's a modern-day setting. I specifically remember subway scenes in NYC with young working professionals traveling to work, the female protagonist fitting in that group, working for some large corporate office. (The male also could, but I can't remember for sure.) The main characters I believe develop a romance (though I don't know how it ended--I never finished it!).

I don't know why this is driving me nuts, but IT IS. I've spent hours searching through Goodreads lists and on Google, but I can't figure it out, and at this point, my brain won't let me rest until the mystery is solved. Please let me know if you can help! Thanks!

Sarah (sarahatothek) | 39 comments Maynard and Jennica?

Chronicles the fateful meeting between Maynard, a failed musician whose hobby is secretly filming the fashion faux pas of New York City subway commuters, and Jennica, a nostalgic Californian and Princeton graduate, and the eccentric, complex romance that ensues.
