Let's Partner Up! Group 3

Hope you enjoy some of these!!!

-If you do not receive any recommendations from your partner by Monday morning, please feel free to ask another group member for recommendations.
-Choosing from your group thread, general recommendations thread, and your own shelves all work for this challenge :)
-You can take all of the six weeks to read your six books- it's not necessary to finish each book chosen within the week it is recommended.

I rolled a 2 :-P
Stay tuned for recs... probably tomorrow. This category takes some digging, I think!

It did for me to give you some!! I couldn't get any of the books you recommended from week 1 from the library so the Lorelai James one is on the way from Thriftbooks.

Sport Romance"
Thank you Katherine :)
My pics for you for week two

1.

This trilogy is set in Texas and follows the romances of 3 brothers. I like the closeness of the brothers and their obvious love for each other and for the home they grew up in.
2.

Cute story, also set in Texas, and revolving around the lost recipe for moonshine that both main characters are searching for.
3.

Good start to a popular romance series, although I haven't read past this first book. Based in Wyoming.
4.

I had to include this one, another Texas book, because I enjoyed this whole 4-book series very much. The main characters are 3 sisters and their best friend.

1.

This is a NASCAR racing story with a single mom and a younger race car driver (it's really only 6 years which is not much).
2.

I haven't read this series yet, but I have read other books by Lori Foster and enjoyed them. Usually she writes light hearted and funny books.
3.

An MMA fighter book. This series is one of my favorite series. It's more of a dramatic story and I cried reading all three of the books.
4.

Mari Carr is another one of my favorite authors...she writes really sweet stories. This series is written with two other authors and I'm really enjoying it.

I had to stop myself from grabbing rockstars-on-the-road books as recs for this because I'd be using up my musician recs for when (if) you roll for that!
Happy Reading!!

Thanks for recs! I requested The Genius and the Muse from that special place we both know ;-)
For last week I read One Hit Wonder instead of a rec because, well, it fit perfectly, I had to read it for another challenge and I had it. But I did add the Tessa Bailey to my TBR!

Rolled: 2 = Artist/Dancer/Musician Romance

Book Read: The Genius and the Muse
Date Read: 07.10
Rating: ★★★★
Great rec, Stacie!! Thanks!

Thanks LaurLa!!!

I hope you like it! I was surprised how much I enjoyed it!

LOL, LaurLa, good thinking!

Oh yeah!!!! Recs soon (ish)!!!"
No hurry! I just started the book you recommended for week 1, lol.

Is that the Lorelie James one? Maybe you can rec that one to me since I haven't read that series yet ;-)

I'll work on your picks this afternoon. I rolled a 5, sports romance.

Here is yours:

2)

So I decided to go with Bring on the Heat...the cover may have had something to do with that decision ;)

I will try this book

Hockey: Delayed Penalty - Shey Stahl -- there has been some question about plagerism surrounding this book. I don't know if it's true. I haven't purchased any other books since I read about it but I already had this one and needed it for a challenge awhile back so I read it. It IS a good story just don't know if it's hers. In case that bothers you, I included another Hockey choice :-)

Hockey: Body Check - Deirdre Martin -- this series is getting a little dated now but I know I enjoyed it when I first came across it 5 or 6 years ago.

Horse Racing: Jockeys and Jewels -- a different take on sports romance. This is also romantic suspense. I just recently read it and especially enjoyed the detail around the sport.

Baseball: Hot Stuff -- another getting to be dated series. I enjoyed it. It is somewhat category romance...but I like Carly Phillips so enjoyed it for what it was.

I know, right?

Thanks, Grace. I've been in a paranormal mood lately, so I will probably give Halfway to the Grave a try.
