Honestly, this whole section of the story confused me. I think he's right to fear for his soul given the examples of the undead around him.

What are the implications of a lack of an aura? No soul at all?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Yes, I was confused too and I think the fact that the undead have no auras will become significant later on.
