Terry Amrhein | 24 comments Thursday June 23, the Republican Controlled House of Representatives refused to vote on two gun control measures, 1) people listed on the “No Fly” list should not be allowed to buy guns and 2) back ground checks should be performed on everyone buying a gun (including guns in gun shows). These two measures are “no brainers”, if you can’t fly in a commercial airliner, you are too dangerous to own a gun; if you are a felon or if you abuse your spouse, you are too dangerous to own a gun. Polls show that 90% of Americans support these measures, yet the House of Representative refused to allow a vote. There’s a reason for this, Republicans in Congress are cowards, and gutless. They don’t represent the American people, they represent only gun manufacturers and the NRA. Well I have a solution, VOTE THE SPINELESS JELLY FISH OUT OF CONGRESS, in the election this November. We deserve much better.

I really do not understand why this is an issue. Oh right, the gun lobby! Sad thing is after Sandy Hook I felt like it would never happen.
