Can't Remember the name of this children's book: Set in a UK boarding school, a young lad gets sent there and the teachers it turns out are monsters in disguise, i think the head teacher was a vampire and the book ends I think with him escaping either on a beach or through a ghost train I think, I read it around 1997, made for 7 - 13 year olds I would say.

Please Please Please help this is driving me mad!
