SOLVED. Book about drowning at a summer vacation location [s]

I read a book a couple years ago about a family that always vacationed on the same lake. One year one of the children drowned at the lake, so the family quit going there. Years later the sister (or the whole family) decides to go back to the lake, and the sister tries to find out what happened to the sibling. I think there was a dock on the cover of the book - but I could be wrong about that.
