Did any one else question the end of Furies when Mathilde questions weather to say yes or no when Lotto proposes? Is this just a glimpse into the life that could have been if she were good and said yes but in the end said no?

I thought it was a general regret, she wishes she had said yes to more people, been more open, and that was just one example.
