message 201: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "It's him!" She burst through another door, directly there. Immediately, she dropped by his side and wrapped her arms around him. "What's wrong?! Let me help!" she said fervently. "Please... please be okay!" She held onto him tightly.

message 202: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments The girl quickly reached into him, pulling out his soul, then, simultaneously, her own. Holding both in either hand, she watched as his seemed weak, but so strong all at once. What would happen? She wasn't dead. it wasn't like they would fuse... but... to keep him strong. To keep him alive. She brought both together, her soul mending his, and pressed them into his chest. Immediately, her body went slack.

message 203: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments By all appearances, she was completely comatose. She needed her soul back... eventually. Probably after Sans was healed.

message 204: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments The soul seemed to reside in the shadow of Sans's. It rested against his, supporting it, giving strength. The human soul had weakened slightly, but it was still a viciously powerful force. Poor Grillby! He couldn't possibly carry them both at once.

message 205: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments The other soul shared the self loathing, but seemed to be reaching out, needing the strength of the other as much as it needed her.

message 206: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Even in her soul, Jenny seemed comatose. Human souls, once out of the possession of their human, were pretty much just tools to be used by monsters. Only something momentous could re-awaken her, like how the six souls had fought back. Right now, he completely controlled the power of her heart.

message 207: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny was inside, but still unconscious. She seemed to float in the middle of the soul, asleep. Why was there a barrier?

message 208: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Well, Jenny had fused their souls... wasn't that invitation enough? He'd been granted total control. He owned the human soul. He could probably access it if he was outside of his own soul. The two souls could rely on each other, but merging them would probably be dangerous.

message 209: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny was still unconscious. What was Lyilm doing?

message 210: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Even being around her dormant soul was overpowering.

message 211: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Well, Grillby could handle him... hopefully.

message 212: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jen's consciousness was left up to Grillby... But Lyilm would probably target her, thinking she still had her soul.

message 213: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments The soul seemed to shift a little, like it could feel something, like he was effecting it.

message 214: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She seemed to come to the edge of her soul, resting against the barrier next to him.

Her arm wrapped around his arm in sleep.

message 215: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments It almost seemed to be an invitation... but fusing the souls would mean that Jenny couldn't be retrieved! Not easily, at least.

message 216: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments .

message 217: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She shivered, as if he was taking her warmth, even on accident.

message 218: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny was prone and open to complete and utter attack, both by Midnight and Lyilm. She was quiet and absolutely still, but useless in a fight.

message 219: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Did she still have that perfume? She was still unconscious, even in the midst of the fight. He had her soul.

message 220: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny seemed jostled, like a baby, as if sensing someone very near to her was in danger.

message 221: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She didn't have her soul, so she couldn't interfere. But in her soul, she was fully awake, panicking. 'Help him!' she mouthed.

message 222: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny was angry now. She shrieked, trying to get Midnight up. She'd saved him! Now he had to save Grillby!

message 223: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments The human soul seemed to heal the monster soul quickly, prolonging its endurance, even mending it. Jenny seemed to sink, as if growing weaker.

message 224: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny defended him, keeping him as healthy as possible. She slipped back towards unconsciousness. Midnight would have to end this fight quickly.

message 225: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny's soul seemed to be a little more cracked, as if the expenditure of energy had strained it.

message 226: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny's soul was splintered, recklessly leaking energy. She was curled up, like a baby in the womb, her hair shrouding her shoulders.

message 227: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Ouch. It was pretty much unfathomable. They shared the suffering. Poor little Human soul needed some soul food or something.

message 228: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny couldn't wake up! She was stuck in Midnight's chest. He needed to return her to her body if she was going to wake up.

message 229: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny exhaled. A piece of her soul seemed just about... to break off.

message 230: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments He could have just pulled her heart out of his chest and put it back...

message 231: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments The two souls appeared in his hands, Jenny's particularly fragile.

message 232: by Ilsa (last edited Jul 16, 2016 06:54PM) (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments It throbbed, as if in pain. Jenny did nothing, just laying there.

message 233: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny gasped, jolting as if electrocuted, and sucked in a strangled sob. She didn't wake up yet, but curled onto her side and groaned.

message 234: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny slowly woke up, a horrible pain permeating her body. She groaned. "Uuuuuuug! Help," she whined, shaking.

message 235: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Her soul seemed to be hurting her. She seemed on the verge of screaming.

message 236: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments It didn't seem to help much, but it hurt like hell anyways. She began to spasm, seeming in too much pain to process anything. Then, she started screaming.

message 237: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Her hand latched onto his, squeezing hard. "Please," she said, "Kill me." The air was pierced by another scream and she rocked backwards. Her body shut down and she mercifully slumped back into unconsciousness. It would probably take time and healing food to patch her up enough.

message 238: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny winced, flinching, and seemed to rest a little more, as if the healing had at least done something. She opened one eye, then groaned. "Everything hurts," she whined, "Why does everything hurt?"

message 239: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "How do I make it stop?" She asked, gasping. Sweat stood out on her skin. "Am I dying?"

message 240: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She whimpered, shaking her head. "I think I'd just throw it up. I can try, though," Jenny offered. She wanted to go somewhere safe. Oh, for the past! This place... It was rank with death and fear.

message 241: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny buried her face into Grillby's chest, feeling pain all over. She nuzzled her face into his chest, whimpering. Still... She could get better, eventually.

message 242: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She hugged the pillow and buried the side of her face into its magical warmth. "Stay by my side, please," she whispered, eyes shut tightly. "I'm scared. I don't want..." Jenny began to cry.

message 243: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She'd wanted him. She'd thought he was near. She thought they were both there. She seemed shrouded in warmth. The pain slowly seemed to ease away, the heat sapping it up. "I... can I have something to drink, please?" she asked, looking slowly about for Midnight.

message 244: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "Where is he?" she asked, gasping. "Where...?" she sank into the cushions and shuddered, cupping the water and drinking it. "Does it... scare you, handling water?"

message 245: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She smiled softly. "You found me in Waterfall, didn't you?" she checked. "You saved me when you could have died at any moment. Thank you... you could kill me now and free all your people... you would, wouldn't you, if it wasn't Lyilm." She leaned back and sighed. "Thank you so much for saving me."

message 246: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny put her hand on Midnight's arm, concerned. "Is he okay?" she mouthed to Grillby. She didn't speak, though, luckily. The Echo flower probably had a message.

message 247: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She blushed, face very read after his message. "How would that even... work, you know?" she asked. "Oh, Midnight, you dork..." she curled up tight, hugging the flower. She hurt all over, still. "Thanks..."

message 248: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She hugged it tighter, cuddling her back against his side. She was so hungry for healing. But those words seemed to help.

message 249: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She blushed. "I suppose he does. I don't know that he should. I haven't given him much. I've only given him trouble. And I still don't understand how anything could possibly work."

message 250: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "But... different species... isn't it... um. Difficult? Or wrong? And if he's a skeleton, does that make him dead or something?"
