message 151: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Shocked, she blinked, eyes wide, held tight in his bony arms. Gingerly, she wrapped her arms back around him and her jacket. It was so soft. He was so kind. She held him tightly and wept into the blue jacket, holding on. She eventually fell back asleep, driven by exhaustion and blood loss.

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments ((Haha! Grillby spying on he closet. Awesome. X,D))

message 153: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She woke up much, much later. She remembered her confession and a sore, sick feeling wrenched at her gut. Gingerly, she turned her face towards the skeleton's features and jumped a little bit. It felt rather like she was near a dead person, and it frightened her. What... Exactly... Was Sans?

message 154: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She looked at him. How did he blush? How did he bleed. "Hi," she said, skittering back to give him some space. Her hair was a tangled mess.

message 155: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She shook her head. "I don't need to hear anything... but... I do need to eat," Jenny admitted, holding her reddish jacket around her like a blanket.

message 156: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments He'd had her jacket. She'd been cuddling up to it. Jean yawned and crossed her arms over her chest. Monster stuff... was so weird. She just didn't get it, and didn't want to seem insensitive by asking. It's not like she'd gotten answers before, though, so she dropped the subject. "Oh- are you okay?"

message 157: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "Oh," she said, sitting on the bed as she watched. "Um... Be safe," she said, eyes a little wide. The sweater wasn't lost on her. "Please." She got up, hoping she healed as fast as monsters did. Ow. She wrapped Papyrus's scarf around her neck again, just in case, and donned a sundress with shorts. It was freaking hot out there! And she hoped that she still looked like a shapeshifter. Still... she didn't want to go too far from the room. Jenny started a slow exploration, silently mapping her progress around the nearby area.

message 158: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She had been exploring, but heard his voice and returned. "Here I am. I'm Jenny," she said, officially introducing herself. "Sorry... I was just looking around."

message 159: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "He wore a sweater, if that means anything to you. He didn't say where, just that he was going." She bit her lip. "Do you know if he's going to be okay?" She took the bag, then smiled. "You know... Maybe I could stay. I mean... You are both amazing friends, and... Well... I don't have much to go back to." She paused. "I wish I had a monster soul. I don't want to be human here."

message 160: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jean frowned. "He's in saner, isn't he? I'll go get him, just tell me where to go. I'm ready." She had on her jacket and scarf. Grillby's reaction properly worried her. "There has to be a way to catch up to him, right?"

message 161: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments ((On phone.))

"Great," she said, "show me he way, then." She began to eat he delicious food he'd brought her, motioning for him to lead the way while she hurried forwards, out the door. Hopefully, people would assume she was just another monster.

message 162: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Why had he even gone then?! Jenny followed Grillby in a rush, getting faster the more she ate, healing until the bag was gone. She felt as good as new, running at full speed. She'd keep him alive and safe, even if it cost her own life! Jenny matched Grillby's speed, wanting to go faster.

message 163: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny darted through the door, ready to fight and ready to save Sans. "Please, don't be being a fool!" She gasped, entering.

message 164: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "Midnight," she breathed, staying silent. She raced towards them, trying to stay silent so she could knock them aside and free Sans.

message 165: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "I can do this," she whispered, "I can kill him! I can't let him kill Sans!" She hissed forcefully, struggling to get back on her feet. "I won't let him die!

message 166: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jean watched. "He's torturing him!" She protested, "he's sadistic, we have to stop him! If you won't, I will." Jenny tore free and raced towards Lyilm, teeth clenched as she swung a stick directly at his head. "Sans, run!" She shouted.

message 167: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny swung her head back in a quick thrust, trying to break this creep's jaw. "Let him go!" She clawed with her free hand at Lyilm's arm. "What sort of a creature are you?!"

message 168: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "Coward!" Jenny spat. Her killing intent was going up by the second. Sh kicked at the snowmen's legs. If they were snow, then by all reasoning, they should crumble pretty easily. Kicking and squirming, she somehow twisted one arm free and punched at Lyilm's face. "You sick, sadistic, egoistic excuse for a breathing being!" she shouted, not going down easy. She was not going to let them all be caught and killed. Not now or ever!

message 169: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "He's not the one going to murder me," she hissed, her hand still free, so she punched her guard, then lashed out at Lylim. Her fist was heavy, and her intent was fueled by anger. The monster crumbled to ash. Horrified, she lost all intent and hit Lylim, making him lose only 1 hp.

message 170: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She tumbled, but scrambled to her feet, grabbing a stick and holding it like a sword. "I don't care!" she roared, "You're the murderer!" She swung the stuck overhead down at him.

message 171: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "Let them go!" she screamed, otherwise petrified. "What did any of us ever do to you?" she asked, her arms tightly held over his hand. It felt like he was crushing her windpipe. The faultlines in her soul started to shift and crack anew, unintentionally, because her soul had already been weakened. "Please," she begged, "Let us-" Grillby's scream harrowed her down to her bones. "Grillby!"

message 172: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She made the wrong move. She had to stop him. She swung an arm down across his shoulder, taking out half his HP in one desperate blow, sure her soul would be crushed.

message 173: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She lay where she fell, not moving an inch. "What do you want with us?" she asked.

message 174: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "Why?" she asked, looking up at Lylim, "Why are you doing this? What did we do to deserve this? I just- I just want to go home..." her lower lip shook a little bit and she gripped the ground under her tightly with both hands.

message 175: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny felt her heart catch in her throat. She scrambled backwards, out of range, and screamed, gripping a rock. She threw it at Lyilm, hands skittering over the floor, trying to find more projectiles.

message 176: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny raced to Grillby, ignoring his guards, who seemed much too overwhelmed by Midnight to process much. "Please be alive," she pleaded, turning him over and trying to check for a heartbeat.

message 177: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "I thought you would have beforehand," she said, "Hurry... Midnight is dealing with Lyilm right now," she said, staring at him intensely. "We have to go, please." She glanced up at Lyilm. The others seemed to be totally staring at Sans, who had Lyilm at a disadvantage. Should... should she totally leave him to win? Or... Hesitating, she looked at him. "We need to go, Sans."

message 178: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny watched. Part of her wanted to stop him. Part of her wanted him to go on, to kill this killer. Didn't Lyilm deserve it? He'd just come looking for them again. He'd hurt them again. He'd kill her. Kill Sans. Kill Grillby. Still... she didn't want him to make the decision alone. She walked up to Midnight and put a hand on his sharpened bone. "If you decide he deserves this, we'll do this. Together."

message 179: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She nodded, her hand tight on the bone. "I know. Or... I guessed," she said. "You're like me," she said, staring down at Lyilm. "It wouldn't be so evil, would it? To end someone who takes pleasure in death?"

message 180: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments ((XD What if someone pushed Jenny in the way?))

Jenny set her jaw. "You know him best."

message 181: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments ((XD Evil.))

Jenny sighed and stepped back away from Lyilm. "All right," she sighed.

message 182: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny turned in shock, watching as Lyilm struggled for breath. "Is he... going to die?" she asked, turning about quickly.

message 183: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny bit her lip, then quickly tied Lyilm's hands behind his back with some spare rope lying around. Once he was secure, she hurriedly pressed the red jacket up against where the bone had impaled him. "We should try to help him!" Who knew... maybe kindness would help him... change him...

message 184: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "I don't care," she told them both, "I'm not going to let you die." Even if she'd been about to let Midnight do it... he would die because he'd attacked her. Because of her. She didn't want him to die that way. "Grillby, please help me!"

message 185: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments The girl leaned back, satisfied. "We should run. Come on." She gripped Grillby, burning her hand, and quickly pulled back. "If my hopes fail us, he'll be after us soon enough..."

message 186: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "I'm sorry," she said, running alongside him. She raced, trying to look at Midnight, then Grillby beside her. "Will he... still hunt us?"

message 187: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She jumped, turning to look at Midnight. "Oh! You scared me there," she gasped, smiling. "Where'd you come from?"

message 188: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She held onto Grillby's hand, running between them. She bit her lip, blinking quickly.

message 189: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jean entered quietly, biting her lower lip. "Was it right? To try to save him?' she asked, "Will he... come back?"

message 190: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She sank back a step, then looked up at Midnight. "I... I couldn't just let him die," she said, feeling her words turn ashen.

message 191: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny felt tears stabbing at her eyes, but she forced them back, standing and facing Midnight, despite the hatred in his words. "I thought you wanted to show mercy. I didn't want him to die because of me." She swallowed a lump in her throat, tears spilling. "He... he killed your brother?"

message 192: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny had enough. She hadn't known. He hadn't told her. And now he blamed her for showing mercy. Kindness. The trait of her soul. She thought she could feel it cracking with every word. "I'm sorry," she whispered, tears rolling down her cheeks. Her jaw clenched. "I'm so sorry," she choked, and when Grillby separated them, she turned and ran.

message 193: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny fled to the only safe place she knew of, to the bench in the wetlands. She bundled up the jacket around her, knees pulled close, and sobbed into her arms, feeling week and weepy. Helpless and hopeless.

message 194: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments She'd fallen asleep where she was, curled up unhappily.

message 195: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments Jenny cuddled into Grillby's side, tucking her chin down to he chest as she slept. She opened her eyes and jolted, though, when she touched down on the bed. She watched for a moment as he wrote the note, then snatched it up when he was gone.

message 196: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "Or if he were angry," she sighed, getting up and sneaking to Sans's room. Only... He wasn't there. "Grillby?" She asked, rubbing her eye. "Where's Sans?" She didn't even know if it was day or night.

message 197: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "Can I- no. Should I help? I want to, but... I don't know if it's for the best." She bit her lip, looking over at Grillby. "He must hate me, right?" She checked. "I saved his brother's torturer and killer."

message 198: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "Yes... And I showed him mine," she said, lowering her eyes. "What does it mean?" His gaze was intent! "Thank you for finding me," she said. "I'm sorry I ran so far." Jenny wrapped her arms around herself.

message 199: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "It... looked fluffy with beautiful shining white streaks," she said, "All over it..." She bit her lower lip. "Is he okay? Why is that important?" She pulled on her shoes and opened the door to the outside.

message 200: by Ilsa (new)

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 1006 comments "I- I didn't know." Her cracks hadn't healed at all. "Then... is his heart weak? Will it shatter easily?" Her eyes widened. "I've gotta find him. Come on." She started at a run down one of the halls. "MIDNIGHT!" she shouted, "SANS!"
